Lately I've been struggling with pimples under the skin, before that I've had really good skin. I would cleans it everyday and exfoliate it 2 days out of the week. But as I said lately I've been getting pimples under my skin and they are so annoying and they hurt! I've found some products that have helped me remove them but I'm getting another one (ugh) and I was wondering if anyone knew how to prevent new ones from coming out?

Those are Cystic acne and are most likely hormonal. My derm said there's no way to prevent them. Since the issue is internal I suggest you talk to your doctor about your current contraceptives as there are a specific type that can help cystic acne. Have you tested for PCOS/PCOD?

Most derms usually get sonography done, to test for PCOS/PCOD since ovarian cysts are most likely to cause cysts.

I get a lot of under the skin pimples.
I agree with what Ame has said. from my experience, the bes way to deal eith them is to just leave them. I also aply spot treatments to them after I wash my face in the morning & night. I find it helps them heal a lot quicker. you can also use hot compresses (cloths soaked in hot water) to help draw the infection out of your skin.
hope I could help! xx

Go to a dermatologist if it's something you aren't able to get rid of on your own.

I would see a derm. Sometimes, antibiotics started at a high dose...then tapered down...then off helps while used with a topical prescription.

Best way to make sure those suckers don't emerge, is dot some tea tree oil (:

I tried everything to get rid of my cystic acne, and finally decided to change my birth control and I havent had any cystic acne since. Cysts are hormonal so I would definitely talk to a dr if you want to avoid having scarred skin.
