Hey I just read somewhere on the internet that applying coffee grinds under your eyes for 10-15 minutes will help reducing dark under eyes circles & bags.
Has anyone tried this?
I'm starting to get rid off my acne (yayyyy!), but the only thing that bother me are my acne scars (I've read advice on BL that I'll try :D) & my under eyes.
Do you think I should try the coffee grinds method or do you think it could be dangerous?
Thank you, lovely people <3

I heard that coffee grinds help get rid of cellulite but I'm not quite sure about reducing under eye circles.. I don't doubt it, it makes sense to me lol try it & find out I guess :)

I am not sure if this works but if it does I would just say don't expect overnight results and keep up with it to see if it really does work. It can't hurt haha.

Its the caffeine that works. Most of the under eye creams have it. I don't kno about coffee grinds though. Let us know if it does.

I can't see it doing much. Caffeine in eye creams do help, but I feel like coffee grounds will be too harsh, since it's used to exfoliate cellulite. so I'd just be careful when doing it. Since it's really abrasive.

That sounds much too rough to apply on such delicate skin. Also I have gotten grounds in my eye before and ended up with a scratched cornea, which hurts like a bitch (excuse my language, but profanity is really the only way to convey how painful it was). #ClumsyBaristaProblems ;)

You could try keeping the grounds wrapped in the filter, kind of like a tea bag. So it can come in contact with the skin but still be contained. I'd personally just try an eye cream. CeraVe makes one and its really gentle. It's supposed to reduce circles and darkness. I don't see very dramatic results but I don't have too many anyway so you might get better results. I got mine at Ulta :)

Also wouldn't coffee stain the skin and make the circles darker? When I was handling coffee grounds all day at work my hands got stained (despite washing them about 15 times an hour with lye-based soap). It could be because I was working mostly with espresso grounds, but still...

Maybe a tea bag that has caffeine would work better, but I don't know.
