First of all, exfoliate the dry skin away. The cream won't do anything if you're applying it to dead skin. You can do an oatmeal scrub, or go to Pinterest for ideas :)

I agree with Hannah. There is this nice moisture mask from the nspa line and you put it on for 10/15 minutes and wash it off,it seriously hydrates the skin!

Creams work best eucerin or cetaphil and a little oil applied before cream. Since oil can be expensive you can use baby oil.

After exfoliating you can do some home remedies with things in your kitchen such as honey, any oiks, milk to cleanse, Vaseline etc. you could buy an exfoliating face wash pretty cheap these days which you can use daily to tacky the flaky skin :)

Make your own exfoliating mask. I use brown sugar and coconut oil. It makes my skin smooth and a great lip exfoliator too.
