How to fade a tattoo.

They have fading creams, but they can be painful. And if you were ever to get a tattoo on the same spot, the ink wouldn't stay and it would hurt a lot. I feel like removing it would be the best.

Besides getting lazer treatments to get them off, there's fading creams you can use. I don't know where you would get them but I'd imagine you can look online, ask a dermatologist, or even a tattoo artist where you could get the cream.

I don't think there are any home methods, there there's fading creams but as mentioned by the others, they can hurt.

If its on a place which can fade easy (such as your finger), you could try using your hands more than you do and see if that has an effect.

You could always get it covered if the tattoo itself is a problem. But if you want no tattoo whatsoever you can do laser removal

I don't think you can use any DIY home remedies to fade a tattoo. especially if it's a dark tattoo.
it's either the fading cream that Rachel suggested, makeup, laser removal, or covering it with another tattoo are really your only options.

I've watched tattoo artist using those fade creams on YouTube and they don't work so I wouldn't waste my money on them. You can look them up if you want to watch them so you know what I mean. I believe your only option is laser or tattoo coverup. You could use dermablend to conceal it if you want a temporary coverup.

I work in an auto shop. if your hands are constantly using the automotive soap (lava soap or something among those lines with a gritty sand feel to it, gritty not like an exfoliator at all) that will wear it Down. can you say how big it is and dark the colors are or how many colors and how old it is? that in addition to the oil will definitely fade it out if not completely remove it. however. depending on the size and color I would say fade it down and cover it with something different. not a name.

I seen a tattoo fade system at walmart, I almost bought it, but I'm just going to wait it out.. you could always get a cover up tattoo if something much cuter ;) <3.

If you still want a tattoo then just have a coverup of another one. If you don't want a tattoo at all, really you just need to laser it. You can try using really gritty, exfoliating soap like someone else suggested but tattoos fade over time, that's really the only way to get it lighter.

The fade creams don't work, don't waste your money. I don't recommend using Lava Soap on your wrist, it is a too harsh for that delicate skin. Baking soda can't reach the layer of skin where the ink is deposited; you'll end up with uneven skin tone around the tattoo.

The only way to remove a tattoo is expensive laser treatments. Be aware that they are painful, and can cause scarring or pigmentation issues. It may be better to get a coverup from a reputable artist, since it would be less costly and painful. :/
