You need to trim the dry ends for it to be healthier. The healthier your hair is, the faster it will grow :) invest in some good deep conditioners too, like aussie 3 minute miracle and coconut oil.

Get a trim and keep your hair as healthy as possible afterwards. Use less or no heat for a few months and wash hair less, every few days will help the natural oils regenerate helping hydrate it.

Take biotin, if you're not drinking at least 3 or 4 full glasses or bottle of water a day, drink that. Deep condition your hair. Use oils and do not use heat on your hair for most of the week. If you like curly hair of reccomend sleeping in about 5 braids and spray hair spray on each section before you braid it(volumizing or freezing is best, I reccomend Not Your Mothers brand, pretty cheap but effective stuff! Get it at Wall Mart for best bargain) That brand also has a shampoo and conditioner(it might even have a line, as in serums and shine sprays or whatever, but I'm not sure) Its called Way To Grow or something like that, I haven't used it but maybe check some reviews and see if that would be a good option.

^ Biotin pills shouldn't be taken unless you see your doctor first as they're made for a deficiency and can have negative side effects if your body doesn't need it.

-cut off damaged ends
- eat healthy
-drink a lot of water
-use as little heat as possible
-always use a heat protectant (I like It's a 10)
-use sulfate free shampoo & conditioner (I like L'oreal Everstrong line)
-deep condition
-use coconut oil as a strengthening treatment
Remember, your hair will only grow as fast as it would at it's healthiest.

Get split ends trimmed, treat your hair to a hot oil treatment, don't wash your hair every day, purchase a good shampoo and matching conditioner for dry hair and rinse out conditioner in cold water, avoid heated styling products where possible, and when using them make sure to use a heat protect spray.

Honestly no have tried it all. the BEST advice I have is extra virgin olive oil... now not only is it cheap and big portions, but it doesn't have a lot of manmade chemicals in it. lots of vitamin's that help you're hair grow. be aware though you need to make you you properly wash you're hair afterwards with really any shampoo. what I did was put the oil in a cup, heat in microwave for like 30 seconds. than spread throughout you're entire head. leave on as desired to soak up. I would sometimes put hair cap or plastic bag around my head and sleep... it really does wonders.. it makes me mad to think of all the money I wasted over the years on different products. don't get me wrong I still have a couple store bought products just not the expensive or overly useless products when olive oil is natural and by far the best. changed my life haha
even use on my weave in hair extensions, makes them last a year plus. :) hope I helped

You'll need to get it cut, otherwise it won't grow. You'll need to do treatments on it and drink LOADS of water. No heat styling.

I'd cut the damage an hair will still grow even if it's dry, hair grows from the roots, not the end.

I have heard that the olive oil treatment does work really good and I don't drink lots of water or eat healthy so these could b the reasons my hair is unhealthy thanks everyone for the advice:)
