I've recently had micro bonds put into my hair which was previously shaved! where I've had short hair for so long I've forgotten how to style big retro curls plus I need tips on any products I can use to keep it in good condition. one more thing... will I go bald?! x

Woah! They could apply them to your hair at that length?! I've been considering more permanent extensions for a few months since I had a bad haircut. Are they worth it? Long hair looks great on you!

Thank you very much for the advice. A friend of mine had her micro rings purchased and fitted by a professional hair dresser and they look terrible! they are too far from scalp resulting in premature matting and they are not matched to her hair colour and have not been cut in properly to top it off she paid ridiculous prices. This put me off loads. my friend at work (my second mum) said she would do them I was a bit like... nah but I feel she did an excellent job.
A hairdresser told me I wouldn't be able to have extensions as my hair was too short but managed to get them done on about 2 inches of hair. I would say they are worth it if you look after them because I've seen so many bad ones. think you should try it and if you don't get on with them have them out. I had a headache for about 1 week until they settled. but you no what they say no pain no gain :-)
one more question..
shall I put dark brown strands in to break up the black a little?

I think the black suits you really, really well! I might just have to give them a go then! I've always had shoulder length layered hair and thought they would never work but seeing this made me so excited, gave me hope! Haha
