I need to lighten my blonde just slightly so that I can do pastel pink! I've heard of bleach baths but not entirely sure of how to go about this.
Would appreciate any input. :3

The only to really SLIGHTLY lighten is to leave it on no more than like 5 min. sounds risky though. Are trying to lighten your whole head??

Keep in mind your already really light. so your lift even lighter pretty rapidly no matrer what developer you use.

Okay you need your hair basically white to do pastel. So instead of a bleach bath I would suggest just full on bleach. Do 20 volume for 30 minutes and than use toner. Take a good pink dye like special effects atomic pink and mix it with a white conditioner. When I had pastel hair it was one or two plastic spoon fulls to about a cup of conditioner. I redid my hair about every two weeks and bleached my roots every month. You want no yellow in your hair or it may turn to a salmon color.

@Ember I've done pastel pink before without my hair being straight up white, so I think I'm pretty confident in this part. :)
What I'm trying to do is get my hair back to the shade it was about three months ago. I'm trying to lift the color just a shade or two.

Mix 10v developer and bleach like normal then add a few squirts of shampoo and put it on your hair like you would shampoo. make sure you get it all over your hair evenly. then rinse off when it gets to your desired lightness.

@Hali Thank you, doll. Would 20vol be too strong? Because that's what I have on hand. If so, I'll go buy 10vol.

I don't think so just make sure you put it on your hair quickly or you can water the 20 down. If you are going to do say 2 oz bleach ud do 2 oz developer but if you want to water down to make 10v you just do 1 oz 20v 1 oz water.
