I'm only 19 and my hair is falling out and not the normal amount of loose hair. Every time it run my fingers through my hair, I end up pulling out 4-5 strands. Is there anything that I can use to decrease the amount of loose hair? I've tried shampoos and conditioners that are supposed to help, but none of them work. I don't want to go bald!

People can lose an average of 50-100 hairs a day, every day. Just saying, it's pretty normal. Not to say that it couldn't be something else, just saying. c:

It is when something is out of the norm that often draws concern..as it should. I would get a wet brush to reduce snagging and be gentle with my hair. You may be seeing breakage if your hair has been processed. In any event, a blood panel is a good idea as hair loss is often a thyroid or deficiency issue. Health is a crucial part of any beauty regimen. I'd also increase my iron and Vitamin D intake. Good luck.

Try Womens Rogaine. I had alopecia, and my hair was falling out so much I had completely bald spots. I used Rogaine and within a couple months my hair began to grow back. Good luck :)
