Bronzer is for contouring... How would you do it different?

Bronzer is not for contouring, veronica.
my guess is that they're just uneducated on that subject. guru's aren't professionals. well I'm sure most aren't.

Bronzer is used where the sun would hit your face to give you a sun kissed look. not to enhance your facial features or make your face look slimmer.

Ok so then what do you use to contour!?

You have to use something cool toned? I have no cool tones in my skin. I just do soft contours and blend it up to my cheeks. I look good. Ill keep doing it ;)

I just feel like hoola bronzer might be an exception because its so flat and not too dark. I use more glowy bronzers like snowbunny in the correct sun hitting spots if I want to look more sun kissed. But on an every day I use a little but of hoola for soft contours

Definitely. YouTube was my primary source of beauty info. But as I started really researching, looking at blogs and reading beauty books religiously for the last couple years, I'm able to debunk a lot of that misinformation. Living in the Information Age, We definitely have to be Socratic, and question everything.

Exactly! But kudos for posting the thread so now you're helping to debunk those makeup common mistakes

Veronica that hoola bronzer is not for contouring it doesn't matter if your cooled toned or warm tones ir if the product is matte once you use a contouring product you will see the difference jacqueline recommended to me the kevyn aucoin sculpting powder and I got it and loved it... The reason why all are wrong aislin is because everyone is following bad advice, just cuz people have you tube doesn't make them gurus... And sandra I know what your saying about being able to do what ever you want but honestly thats not true you can do it but that doesn't mean its right or that it looks good, for example we are talking about bronzers here woyld you put bronzer in your arm pit? You say you can do what ever you want so lets say you put bronzer in your armpit would it look good? No you would look like a dork lol what I'm trying to say is that there's some guidelines to follow when doing makeup I hope I didnt offend you or you tool it the wrong way if you did I appoligize

They make contour powders. I believe MAC, and NYX makes some but I personally find a matte brown shadow that quite grey toned.
