I bought a magnetic eyeshadow palette from etsy, and it is in fact magnetic, but none of my eyeshadow pans are magnetic enough to stick to the palette!The eyeshadows I have are all drugstore;
wet n wild
loreal
revlon
NONE of these eyeshadows will stick to the palette, yet the magnet piece on the palette is right there! Irony:( Any suggestions as to how I can magnetize the eyeshadows so they can stick to the palette?

I just use magnet sheets from Staples. They come with an adhesive side and can be cut to size. You can also buy little square magnets from Michaels, which are a little more expensive.

Could it be you might be using two positive sides of the magnet instead of one positive being in your palette and one negative on the actual item you want to stick in the palette? If you buy new sheets like Heather suggested, they come w/ both. =D
