Dark circles and mild acne breakouts are the bane of my face's existent.

I just can't seem to keep foundation and concealer on it by the end of the work day. What do you ladies use to help it stick and stay covered.

(Yes, I've even used Smashbox Photo Finish)

Well, I hate to just recommend a primer product for you if those dont work... I don't have really oily skin at all, but I use the Hard Candy primer and it is really good! Although, it does have the same texture as Photo Finish so it may not make much of a difference if that doesn't work for you. But maybe you should try a different foundation - that could help. There might be a better formula that likes to stay on your face really well!

As far as dark circles, I have the same problem. I use Stay Don't Stray on my skin, then use whatever concealer you like (The best for my circles is Milani HD Advanced Concealer in light) and then I top it off with Benefit's Powderflage. Trust me, just trying out those products may make a huge difference helping to camouflage those circles AND help it to last!!

Hope that helps :)

Instead of purchasing products to cover, might I suggest you look into products to remedy the acne problem at its root so you don't have to cover it? Try a gentle cleanser like CeraVe or Cetaphil depending on what's available to you in your local area. They do help heal, but results can be slow... just have patience!

As for the under-eye area, I really like my Tarte Maracuja concealer from QVC. A salmon concealer like Bobby Brown's might do well for your discoloration too.

As for a tip to help your concealer "stick" - try dusting your face with a setting powder BEFORE application. It'll act like a barrier between your face oils and products, and give some texture to your skin for the liquid/cream products to stick to. Just a VERY light dusting is all you need. Hope that helps!

Also, Acne sounds like you have oily skin and thus Smashbox Photo Finish is the worst primer you could possibly use...the makeup will slide off your face. I use dermablend smooth indulgence concealer...stays very well...longer than most foundations I use. As for a foundation, look for something water based, oil free and melt resistant. Oh and for the primer, find something silicone free and I sometimes put eyeshadow prime under my eyes so my concealer wont crease and will last...but thar's only when I'm using some crummy concealer...like some of my MAC ones.
