I have never really worked with women who have darker skin, but later today I am doing makeup for someone who is going out tonight. I need some tips on what colors of eyeshadow to use or tips on what looks good on darker skin ladies. ANy advice is appreciated and quick since it is tonight :) thanks!

Darker skin can wear any shades! Just make sure the blush shades aren't ashy or the lip color shades aren't too light for the person's complexion.

I see gorgeous photos of dark skinnned ladies with navy shadows on this season: http://jonesmag.com/beauty-hair/2011-checklist-10-must-have-double-duty-beauty-products/
...and I have to say: I'm super jealous. It looks so sexy! I'm imagining this color was contrast from MAC... but there are many colors out there from every brand to satisfy the navy trend this fall. =)
