My aunt did it and her hair fell out while it was in the rollers. Like literally the rollers and her hair all fell off and she had to get a boy haircut.

I'm not trying to scare you I'm just so passionate about preventing girls from damaging their hair. I damaged my hair so bad in high school and it all fell out and I was so depressed about it. You can do whatever you feel, and your hair probably won't fall out like my aunts did, but it won't be as healthy as it is now if you do it. :) sorry for being blunt.

My hair is pretty naturally straight as well. If you look at a lot of my pictures I have wavy hair. I achieved this look by twisting my hair while its damp, brushing it every once in a while to make it smooth, and twisting it again until it is dry.

I permed my hair last year.its looked sooo pretty but my hair would fall out a lot..my hair is dry and all frizzy now.it looks horrible. I suggest not to do it but every one learns from their own experiences.

I have very thick healthy hair and my perm didn't damage it at all.

Majority of the time when someone's hair "falls out" after getting a perm, the person getting the perm didn't mention to the stylist that they had some sort of chemical added to the hair recently, and it's a result of the two reacting. Of course, there is always that strange case, but I wouldn't count on it. I say go for it. c:

Everyone has a curl in there hair unless your hair is short straight what you do is have a shower wet it and let it naturally dry scrunch your hair and see if not perms can wreck your hair because so much heat just to get a curl to stay but everyone will have a curl or wave

I've tried going to sleep with it naturally dry and scrunching it the next day. It's still just wavy and bland. I love straight hair! BUT I want something new, something no one else does & where I live no one perms their hair or has that kind of curl UNLESS they're mixed.
