Just remember regardless of what it is, if it is a liquid it had to go in a 1 quart clear zip baggie, I travel a lot and cannot stress that enough, that includes lip glosses and the like.

Like Kelly said.. They sell a set of containers at Walmart that are the size you can carry on. Best luck on your flight and stay safe =) I miss flying but my last time was my worst experience

Wow even lip gloss now Kelly?

Lip gloss had always been on the list, a liquid is a liquid.

The rule is 3-1-1, no larger then 3 ounces, in 1, 1 quart clear plastic zip baggie. That is all you can carry on for liquids, if it doesn't fit in the baggie our the baggie can't close they will make you throw items away at the security checkpoint.

I remember I had to throw a torch lighter away at the checkpoint.. I was kinda mad but I knew better.. =/

I keep it simple. Lip balm, hand sanitizer, and toothpaste/toothbrush. All in travel size.

You never really need a whole bunch to carry on unless you are going over seas. You'd basically need touch up stuff.. Toothpaste and Toothpaste

Toothpaste and toothbrush sorry

Overseas I never carry a bunch of stuff with me because the airline I go with offers passengers all these lil skincare goodies so I don't even bother. I cringe when I see women running in super high heels with a huge carry-on to make a connecting flight. :/ Keep it light as possible Mally.

Kelly can a eyeshadow palette be carried inside or will they make you throw it away? I want to take my naked palette but no I wonder if they will make me throw it out at check point.

I don't think they will since it's not liquid but you can always call the airline and ask.

Don't forget a sweater or a pullover. I get so cold inside a plane, it could be a hundred degrees outside but Il still be cold and cranky.

I HATE bringing big carry-ons so I keep it simple by just packing up a small purse while travelling. I just bring whatever I normally keep in my purse... travel toothbrush &toothpaste, small deodorant, tinted moisturizer or powder foundation, a liquid liner pen, travel size mascara, lip balm, and a lip color... I just transfer those things to a clear makeup bag and put any non-essentials that made their way into my purse into my luggage.
