I didn't start wearing makeup until I was 14. It's good to practice at home though because when I started I would wear blue eyeshadow and eyeliner with pink sparkly lipgloss everyday and it looked horrific... -_-

In 6th grade I wore some mascara. And in 7th and 8th I wore mascara and some concealer. Then in high school I wore as much as a wanted but still very simple and natural!

I was allowed eyeshadow and lip gloss along with concealer when I was eleven. When I was twelve my mom let me wear eyeliner. But my sister is eleven and wearing EVERYTHING. She almost knows more about makeup than I do, what with the beauty gurus on YouTube she has grown obsessed with.

Their is a time for everything... Makeup at 11 is just too young, theirs no need to rush to grow up!

Setting an age to start wearing makeup is a tricky thing... I started wearing makeup when I was about 11; my sister started when she was 14; my mom, not until she was 27. Why does your sister want to wear makeup? For me, I had severe acne and scarring on my face that I wanted to cover up. My sister, on the other hand, just wanted her eyes to look "more colorful". If your sister is looking to wear makeup purely because all her friends are wearing it, she shouldn't wear it. If there is a purpose behind it, such as addressing something that caused self-esteem issues, she should be allowed. Furthermore, if makeup is something she wants to do simply for the fun of it, she should be allowed to play with it and experiment, though perhaps not for school. This is just my opinion, but hope it helps!

Who cares if she wants to wear it, it's her choice I've been wearing makeup since I've been 11 (not that much tho) I love it and its fun to experiment so who cars let her do what she want to do

I didn't, but I think it's perfectly fine for an eleven year old to wear makeup if she wants to.

Well I babysit a young girl she is about ten and is already wearing just as much makeup as me sometimes I think it's crazy and I have noticed that a lot of younger girls have been wearing makeup so I think it all depends on what people at her school are wearing and as long as she doesn't got too far with it maybe just mascara and lip gloss and just go from there just make sure it's not outrageous cause I've seen like a 9 year old in green eyeliner she had no clue wht she looked like

She shouldn't be wearing anything at that age! It's horrible how society makes young girls feel as if they need makeup.

I didnt start wearing full on makeup until I was 15! I don't think 11 is an appropriate age for make up honestly!

I started wearing makeup then.. I guess it's just society these days. Don't mention makeup until she actually talks about it and wants to wear it

I started small. I wore a brown pallet eyeshadow, pencil liner (Just on the top) and nail polish. I began straightening my hair in fifth grade. Lmao. I started wearing full face makeup at 14. Started wearing liquid liner and lining my tight line at 15.
