I got started with makeup at 12. That was my main birthday present. But only natural. No eyeliner or anything

I didn't start until Jr. High. Wait until 13/14. That's the best. And always go light to begin with. Always.

Mmmm I don't really think so. I started wearing so little mascara it was barely noticeable in the summer before my seventh grade year. All through seventh grade I wore mascara usually foundation (unless my skin was willing to cope) and when my skin didnt cope I wore foundation and sometimes concealer and on special occasions I wore eyeshadow. Now I'm going into eighth grade and I think I MIGHT try eyeliner. I like it, but I have to learn how to put it on!! Lol hope this helped. :) Oh ya and all through elementary I thought lipgloss was the best-still do-maybe she'll be content with lipgloss. :)

No I think 11 is too early 13 is good to start wearing lip gloss tinted moisturizer ect however if she wants to wear makeup on a special event tell her that you can help her do it and give her a very natural look just blush nude eye shadow

I was 19 wen I start make up...I know its funny...but I use only powder foundation...btw...if shes really want to start...ask her first what is her main purpose to wear make up in the first place?...to be pretty, , comfortable, or want some attention? etc...if she want those thing try to convince her to do some different kind of hairstyles...coz people will notice first how beautiful our hair...it can change our face look...if that thing not convince by her try to buy baby powder or natural press powder..and some color lipbalm...:)

Oh and lip gloss is good because it feels like its real "adult makeup" even though its just a bit of sparkle

No... But if she has acne or something then she should wear concealer and/or foundation!

I started playing with eye shadow when I was 12 but I never wore it to school. My mom figured that when I was old enough I'd at least know how to apply it with out looking weird. Lol.

I never wore make up at 11, only used chapstick. I didn't really start wearing make up till last year and I turned 23 this year. Don't wear a lot now to be honest. mostly lipstick bit of eyeliner and mascara. Only wear concealer and foundation very rarely. x

Nope. I didn't really start wearing it until I was 13 - 14, even then all I really wore was eyeliner and lip gloss. I didn't start wearing a full face of makeup until I was about 17.
