In your opinion, and yes I said your OPINION do you think there is anything wrong with drugstore makeup, like you have your high end barbies and then there's the drug store barbies... in MY opinion there is nothing wrong with it because I only have drug store makeup, the only thing non drug store is a palette off of eBay from Hong Kong. I don't have loads of cash to fork out for expensive makeup or clothes. I live in a hotel and money is cheap. I get a little sensitive when I see MUA bashing drugstore brands because I would love to get high end products but some people just don't have the money to get it. one of my favorite gurus bashed drugstore brands and it made me really think. some people think they're too good for it but some people have to get it. makeup is makeup. :)

I only use drugstore makeup-I am not going to pay loads of money for cheaper products that get the job done.

Don't feel that
Way because
To be honest
Some high end makeup just suck!
So I wouldn't worry😊❤

I like both ends of makeup. I don't think posting more for a product makes it better, in fact I feel like sometimes you are just paying for the label.

There is a plethora of great makeup from all realms - high end, drugstore, diy...it's about trial and error and finding what is best for you. As a makeup artist, my kit includes a little bit of everything.

Both ends are good depending on what you buy. I typically prefer high end though because there are more brands that don't test on animals and I refuse to buy anything that is. There are only a few drugstore brands I can buy from.

I've recently started using a brand called MUA (make up academy) and it's dirt cheap but absolutely brilliant! like seriously, £1 nail polish that lasts way longer than my more expensive ones, and a whole range of other things that I can't recommend enough. If your in the UK you can get it from superdrug, if not you can get it from their website. Honestly it's seriously cheap and seriously good! they also have 2 palettes that are dupes of urban decays naked 1 & 2 and from what I've seen on the interent they're practically a perfect match.. here's the amazing part.. they only cost £4!! way cheaper than the urban decay palettes =P seriously if your short on cash you should check it out =D.

I don't prefer one over the other really. Some drugstore products I've bought I like even better than similar high end ones I have.

I like mixing high + low priced makeup. For skincare, I tend to be high end because I've seen that those products just work better. If you're apprehensive about purchasing an expensive product, do your research on it - ask people on here, ask your friends, or even try asking for a sample at the counter.

I like high end makeup, BUT for foundation and mascara I like drugstore brands. high end eyeshadows, lipsticks, lipgloss, brushes, ect. are worth the price in my oppinion and they last longer so its deff worth the price.

And they are easier to work with.

Just cuz I prefer high end products dnt mean I think I'm too good for drugstore brands, I just prefer high end, and I save my money to buy it too.

I'm not saying anyone who prefers it thinks they're too good for drugstore brands it was how this one person talked about made her seem like she was too good for it she said something like she had to swatch everything but nothing made the cut for her to buy drugstore products

That's why I love Stilababe09 on YouTube. She uses both! :)

Drugstore products are just as good as high end products. I only use drugstore and I'm fine.

I'm talking about that there's people out there that want high end products because of quality and benefits about them but can't buy them because they don't have the money for them so they have to go to the drugstore and get them.

I use a bunch of drugstore makeup, don't get me wrong.. But sometimes when you're super into makeup buying higher end can save you money in the long run. Take the naked pallete by urban decay. 50 dollars, and you are pretty much guarantee to be satisfied. But say you don't want to spend the 50, so you try to find something at the drugstore. That product didn't end up meeting your standards, so you buy another. And another, because hey, it's drugstore and its cheap. But those add up! That's why I always say no matter why you're buying read or watch reviews on them!

I have been buying more makeup lately and most of it is "high end." I have bought drug store also. I am not a snob about it, I just decide I want a certain type of product and then I research it. So it just depends on my needs. And sometimes a certain products catch my eye, and I want it. But 95% of the time I research the product. So I don't see the big deal between drugstore and not. It is whatever fits your needs.

Honestly, I don't see much difference between high end and drugstore make ups besides the prices. I buy both :)

I buy both but I agree with Jess, the $ amount isn't the whole story. I have had my anistasia eyebrow pallette for EIGHT YEARS and I am still using it daily. Sometimes you pay more up front but don't have to touch up or layer as many products either. It all depends.

I think it's similar to clothes. You can get some cheap clothes that are cute and nice but expensive clothes last longer and all around better quality. I have nothing against drug store makeup I just prefer buying higher end. Also being able to try on makeup and return it is nice which you can't always do at drug stores.

A lot of drug store brands and high end brands are owned by the same company, so... personally I LOVE drugstore makeup and I think that it is your skill that matters. drug store makeup is good for mostly everything, but I find you get better selection and quality with high end eyeshadows and blushes!

I just get my makeup at Walmart for cheap. Nothing wrong with it! And in my opinion it probably does just the same as more expensive brands.
