I only use drug-store makeup, I am always switching makeup and brands so I like to keep it on the less expensive side!

Hii, I'm all new here but to give you my opinion to be honest when I was 16 I starter working at a drugstore and always bought my make up there. When I got older and had more money I starter buying high end make up brands. Butt to give a answer on your question I agree with you! There are drug store products that do the same as the high end ones. In still prefer personaly the high end brands but I have many products of deug stores I use daily and I always try out drug store brands checking out if they work for me as good as the high end ones!! Don't worry about what some youtube guru says you buy and use stuff you like cause your the one using it not she!!

I only use drug store products. I can afford higher end products but the basic I gedientds are very simular and you ultimatly end up paying for fancy packaging a lot of the time. Having said that clarins do some great stuff that I request for birthday and christmas (: Brands do differ obviously but overall I'm happy with my cheap cosmetics they look great and I apply them correctly. I really don't feel expensive stuff ia worth it. I have this book and it costs them pennies to make something that retails at a hugely inflated price. Stick with what your using its fine (:

I use ONLY drugstore makeup. My makeup bag consists of makeup only from Walmart. There's nothing wrong with drug store makeup! Same as name brand tshirts. Why pay more when you can get the same product for a fraction of the price? 😊✨

I use both. I have a seriously hard time finding the proper colour for myself in most drug stores when it comes to foundation and concealer so I often end up getting more costly products but, when its stuff like mascara I get drug store makeup.

Well, I'm broke as all get out so personally I use drug store makeup with professional skin care products like Clinique and stuff. Works for me.

Both are good! No one can tell the difference once on your face!!

Personnaly. I use both, But I try to invest a little when it comes to Skincare products and Foundations+Concealers+Brushes , since I have a blemish prone skin.
TBH a lot of times I don't even notice the difference between the two.
You can apply drugstore makeup professionally and look good, It's all about technique. ;)

I love drugstore makeup. For me its more cost effective and I get similar results. I do enjoy high end products but it had to be holy grail like for me to buy it. Thank you for the tip on MUA makeup Hazel, I'm on their site now!

I absolutely loved drugstore makeup until I became an Avon rep n soon feel in love with their makep so I order all my make up from Avon now, they are always cheaper than drugstore cost. Plus since I'm a rep I get a discount!! But interested, email me at www.youravon.com/ajacks08.

I use only drugstore makeup. I don't mind it and I think they're the same, just the brand that makes it more expensive. I can't afford high end makeup 😔

Did you know loreal and Estée Lauder are the same thing?!? Same ingredients in most products! So, in my opinion, drug store makeup is just as good :)

I love both! Some things are worth paying more for in my opinion but some drug store products are better!

Make up isn't just makeup lipstick that 20 compared to 7 won't smear mascara that's 30 instead of 10 you only need one coat foundation that 40 only need one pump its not that much more less is more ladies.

The only time I guess I would spend a lot if money on high end is if I heard nothing but good things about it.

Christine, that's not true actually :) it's a very false and ignorant view. Take essence for example, essence gel liner is WAY more pigmented than Mac's gel liner, and you only need one dip in the brush to complete the entire line.

@DM Correction... That's not always true. The thing is, both drugstore and high end brands have their issues, but just because that eyeliner is good doesn't mean you're always going to stretch your value when you buy drugstore.
