About Me
Bay Area native and part of the Beautylish team, I come from a background of makeup artistry, journalism and photography which I've been actively pursuing for over 10 years (yikes!).
I'm nearly 100% self taught and have worked freelance with an emphasis in complexion, skin care and color theory. While I went to school for Philosophy with an emphasis in Political Theory, I was seduced by the science behind all that was being developed in the cosmetic and skin care world.
When I'm not playing with makeup or dabbling in skincare alchemy, I keep that "professional nose" of mine in books, eyes on film and ears in my record collection which challenges my makeup collection.
