I really need to know before I buy either one.

Sort of. They have a bit more benefits than a foundation does (anti-aging, spf, moisturizing, etc).

What kind of coverage are you looking for?

Something that people won't know that I'm wearing it.

If you want something lite (especially because it's summer) is recommend a bb cream. Depending on what you buy, they are super and light and have a lot more benefits for your skin.

I love my bb and cc creams. if you need more coverage I just then go in with a concealer if need be.

Korean bb creams are really the only ones that have true benefits for your skin, the American versions are pretty much just a tinted moisturizer. They provide light coverage, I personally find that they make me look a bit more oily (I have oily skin). I personally prefer a lightweight foundation such as L'Oreal True Match.

Bb creams are just nothing to add on to the skin. it is simply like a foundation with light coverage. A lot of high end foundations comes with benefits today so, foundation must be a better choice of having natural infusers into it. Too faced has launched their born this way foundation with coconut water into it.

I'd go with foundation because there more shades and undertones to pic from.

I agree with Shauna S. I have a few Korean bb creams and one cc cream. They're amazing and I doubt feel the need to go for my foundation at all. I love these bb creams and they're simply amazing.
There are quite a few brands you can pick from. But you must learn a little about the Korean color numbers and shades.

Where can I get Korean bb creams? And what are the cc creams for?

I use CC Cream most days. I love that it feels and looks light, tones down my redness and offers broad spectrum SPF. My fav is Lumene and Smashbox. I still wear sunscreen..just in case. It never creases and touch up is easy breezy. No powder for me and it still holds up nicely.
