I want to get better at doing wings for my eyeliner but I don't want it to smudge. If I use gel liner I will get a good brush. Or should I get a felt/liquid liner. Recommendations will be helpful thank you thank you!

I personally like a felt tip liner. however, it could be hard to do the wing you have wrinkles at the end of your eye.

Oh sorry, and my favorite one is the sephora felt tip liner! it's $14

Felt tip is my favorite. And Kat Von D's is awesome! It last all day and is super black. Stila's is great too but it has a shinier finish than KVD's but I think it last just as long. Either one are easy to apply before I good never get a good wing. I personally don't like gel but thats just me...

I use felt tip and in my opinion it's pretty good for doing wings!

I like the one that Sheslay posted but I just find it dries out fast because the tip is so long. My favourite is the Kat Von D felt tip Tattoo Liner.

Felt tips that you dip in the product, not the felt tip pen style ones. I really like Palladio because the tip doesn't wear down and become mush. The color is evenly pigmented too. I know Sally's has it and I think Ulta?

I keep my eyeliner in a little holder upside down and I've noticed it doesn't dry out as fast!

I have tried Palladio's liquid liner and it gave me a very bad reaction (itchy, swollen eyelids) so I stop using it after seeing the same reaction over and over again.
Kat Von D's tatto liner isn't my favorite either because I need to use it twice to get a solid black color and it smudges very easily (after a couple of hours or little accidental rub)
My favorite liner is Inglot Gel liner because it is very intense and last all day. Wings are very easy to create with the right brush. I really like EcoTools angled brush but you can look for a smaller/slimmer brush if you want a sharper wing

I use the maybelline master graphic liquid marker eyeliner for my wings. I'm really bad at doing wings but using this I actually do pretty well lol.

When I started doing winged eyeliner, I used a gel. It gave me better control than a liquid. Now that I'm better I use liquid, but I prefer the liquid liners with pots instead of the pen liners. My favorites are Almay and e.l.f. liquid liners.

Felt tip! its like a marker. its super easy to apply and if you make a mistake, it's normally easy to remove. I LOVE Maybelline's felt tip liner. it has an angled applicator so it makes wings super easy to achieve. plus its drugstore, so its cheap!

What I currently do is use a gel liner and a liquid liner together. I start with forming my wing with the gel I do lightly so that I can fix it in any way I want after I have figured the shape I go over it with a liquid line to make a crisp perfect wing , this way is much easier to not mess up. I usually use maybeline gel liner and Mac liquid last liner hope I could help :D

I love using Inglot in the shade 77 with the sigma thin eyeliner brush. It gives the most control, then I like using an angled brush for the wing!

I quite like Jordana liquid liner that I get at Walgreens

Felt tip is my favorite, I usually use the Maybelline Master Precise liner and for a wing liner I use the Maybelline Master Graphic liner, they're both amazing and they're also very cheap.

I find it a lot easier to use gel liner and an angled brush. If you don't have gel liner, mascara works extremely well!
