Hi everyone :-) I haven't posted in a while or even been shopping as much. My boyfriend gifted me with some money for our anniversary last weekend so I decided to splurge on some makeup I've had my eye on for a while.

Hourglass ambient lighting palette- I was never going to buy this with my own money as I thought it was too expensive and what could be so special about it? well I have to say it's gorgeous and worth every euro! I use all the shades on different areas of my face and the result is beautiful. I need to use it more and experiment with it but I love it so far.

Hourglass ambient lighting powder luminious light- I use this as a subtle highlight and lightly under my eyes after I set concealer. It brightens up the under eye area beautifully. It's very pretty!

Hourglass ambient lighting blush mood exposure- love the colour of this blush, I prefer neutral based colours in general and this was the only colour I was interested in.

Too faced chocolate soleil bronzer in medium deep- I have fair skin and thought this might be too dark on me but it's perfect. It's not orange or muddy on me and I love the scent.

Becca shimmering skin perfector pressed moonstone- This is a dramatic highlighter! A little goes a long way and it lasts on my skin a long time. I'm glad I picked this up as I was very curious about it.

Laura Mercier matte radiance baked highlighter 01- This is a great shade of highlighter for me, it's quite subtle which I like for daytime. I need to play around with this more!

Mac strobe cream travel size- This is great under foundation or mixed with foundation. It's not greasy or shiny on me and it hydrates my skin which is nice.

Mac fix plus travel size and regular size- I've used this under my foundation for the past few days and it helps blend it in better as my skin is quite dry lately. I bought the travel size to keep in my handbag for a quick refresh. It smells great too.

Clarins skin illusion foundation shade ivory- I was looking for a hydrating foundation as all of my usual ones are matte or semi matte. This is hydrating but it doesn't make me shiny either. Lasting power is average though about six hours but I don't mind too much.

I'm also interested in the hourglass brow sculpter, has anyone tried it? Would you recommend it?

I hope you enjoy the haul and mini reviews guys! Swatches to follow.

What a outstanding haul Rebecca, I love hourglass Radiant light and Mac strobe, Mac fix. Strobe is what I have on in my profile pic mixed with It cosmetics CC cream. I love illuminating finish but that moonstone Oh that can give a fast moon shine if applied heavy lol but it's a attractive color that catches the eye, I personally would use it for the eye's giving a punch of brightening but I think it's beautiful. Thanks for sharing :)

Thanks Alma! I must try moonstone to brighten the eye area, it's quite intense! A light hand is a must. I will be experimenting the strobe cream into my cc cream, I'm loving the hydrated illuminated look lately!

Your welcome Rebecca, I'm all for the Radiant illumosity effect lol its so pretty. :) You should look into Kevyn Aucoin celestial powder and starlight, Estee lauder goddess Gelee, Mac soft n gentle, L'Oréal visible lift rose gold, Stila liquid Illuminators, Bobbi brown bronze gold, Lorac Tantalizer, Revlon illuminating liquid, Boots N7 Radiance Beauty balm it's like Mac strobe but a bit more matte, Gosh the list goes on lol so many of them I love it. :)

I actually swatched the kevyn aucoin highlighters and really liked them so I added them to my next list ;-) I have the boots radiance balm and I enjoy it, it is a great alternative to the strobe cream however I prefer the scent and texture of mac strobe cream. I also have mac soft and gentle which is great for night time use imo for a more dramatic look. It's a never ending quest trying highlighters, there are so many beautiful shades and finishes! :-) what else would you recommend from Hourglass? I have my eye on their brow sculptor, the shade soft brunette and dark brunette (I think that was the name of the shades) looked really nice and the spoolie looks and feels great too.

Awe that's awesome we're on the same illuminating team lol I haven't tried that brow product and I had a hourglass blush but returned it I wasn't fond of it but Jackie wants me to try another color which I promised I will soon. I really like their primer.

Mood exposure was the only one I really liked at the time. I wasn't crazy about the bronzers, they looked very orange and shimmery for my skintone anyway. I wanted to try the travel size primer but none in stock at the time only the regular sizes, I didn't feel like spending 60 ish euro on something I might not like and cannot return.

Awesome haul! Mood Exposure has been on my list for ages, but I think I'm going to wait until the November Beauty Insider sale at Sephora. The swatch is beautiful! And do you think it's worth it to own both the Laura Mercier and the Becca highlighters? I love my Laura Mercier but everyone's so obsessed with the Becca.

Nice haul! I love the ambient lighting powders and the Becca highlighters, so pretty

Thanks girls! @Jamie D no I don't think it's necessary to own both unless you are obsessed with highlighters like me ha. Both are very pretty highlighters but becca is definitely more dramatic compared to Laura Mercier.

I love the Clarins skin illusion foundation, it's so gorgeous! I use the same shade as you too haha :)

@Lauren You should definitely go in and play around with all the makeup! The ladies in there are really nice and helpful too and don't push you to buy products which is what I like :-)

@Hannah I'm really enjoying the foundation so far! it's a great shade match too. I'm glad you love it! What do you use to apply it? I've been using my real techniques expert face brush which I like but I'm curious to see what it's like applied with a sponge.

Lovely haul! I don't have the put palette but I have the single compact of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting powder in Diffused Light and it makes a huge difference in photos.

Awesome haul! I'm in love with my Ambient lighting powders but lately I've been reaching for Becca when I want to highlight. You definitely need to check out Kevin Aucoin highlighter. I think it trumps all the highlighters on the market currently. :)
