Wish I had this sooner

Love this foundation. I ran out if concealer and ran into Ulta to pick one up but they didn't have my color and, amazingly, there were no other conceal eras for my shade in the entire store. Really?! So the sweetest associate named Emily went and got me a few foundation sticks to try instead and this was one of them. It's full coverage without being heavy and cakey., My skin still shows through. Totally buildable. And what I love is that I can just use this one product instead iof having to conceal with something else. Oh yeah, cheap too. : )

So disappointed!

Okay, let me start by saying I have been a long time user of Black Opal Cosmetics. Bon Bon lipstick was my staple color and I would never run dry! So w/that said, I decided to put it back in rotation and purchase a tube. It was a new formula, but new is better right? Ummm, no. It is an odd formula. First of all, the scent is a very heavy crayon, waxy scent that is annoying to me. Secondly, it is super thick and tacky and feels like you have a coating of yuck on your lip. The color is still amazing and the stay power is awesome but I don't know if I could take the negatives for the positives. : (

Got this in my Birchbox and I have been using it almost everyday ever since. It is good stuff that gives good precision and stays on during Houston summers. Need I say more? I have a similar eyeliner from NYX and I don't like it nearly as much. If I can find it and the price is right, will purchase when I'm through.

Yummy.

Great nude lip for many skin tones, I would imagine. It's great on my pigmented lips. Stays on for a verrrrry long time and has a nice consistency. Not too tacky, not too thin...just right. If you're my age you will know what I'm talking about, the scent smells like that "cola" gummy candy back in the day. You know the one that was shaped like a soda bottle and was brown and whitish tan? It's crazy but you get used to it. Realllly like this gloss.

EDIT...I adore this gloss even more. About to buy another tube...hate that I missed it on sale for 40% off at ulta the other day. : ( Just realized it's minty feeling too. Pure awesomeness!

The name fits!

First, let me start by saying that I'm not the biggest fan of China Glaze. I think that for the price you pay the color should stay on way longer than it does. But I'm starting to realize that if you have natural nails no polish will stay on for very long. : ( I am writing this review strictly re the shade Riveting. It is beaauuuuutiful! It's a deep orange base with gorgeous orange shimmering glitter. So pretty! I can't stop looking at my hands. Just put it on last nite and I haven't done much since then so not sure how long it will last. But the color is gorgeous. If you like orange or even if you just want a pretty unique color...give it a try!

I use this everyday

This colors so great. I use it daily in my crease and outer v for the perfect daytime smokey eye. All I do is add highlighter on the brow and sweep on some mascara and I'm out the door. It's so much better than plain brown. Love it.

Expensive but ooooh weee!

This gloss is beautiful. I fell in love with the color first and then realized it was NARS and thought ohoh, how expensive could it be? Very! It was $26 at Sephora. (thank God I had a coupon!) bu I is an amazing formula that is nothing like a lipstick but a very high en gloss. It has amazing pigment and staying power. I have lready received compliments while wearing it. Besides the price, the only other con I can think of is the applicator brush. It's so small and gimpy. I hate it. But I put up with it bcuz the gloss is that great. The next time you get some savings give it a try.

edit...seriously, no one should pay full price for this gloss. It's gloss! I think I could find a dupe that I could live with for a fraction of the cost. It's pretty but it's still just a gloss.

Staying power!

I have had these for awhile, yet I haven't really tested them out and about too much. Just because I have so many eye products I haven't gotten around to them yet. (So sad.) So I decided to test it's staying power because they are called 24/7 after all. I put the dark purple all over my lid and on my lower lash line and then I took a hot shower. I got out and the color was just as gorgeous as when I put it on. The color didn't budge! I did have glitter fallout on my face but it was minimal. I am very impressed. Just a few swipes gave me ample coverage for any type of wear. Nice!

Meh

I had high hopes for this palette but it left me disappointed. I tried it on several occasions but I just couldn't get over how much the product moved when applied, especially the orange color. Very blotchy too. I liked the dark color for contouring but I can do that with a cheaper product. I returned it to Sephora. I was happy with my Iman concealer anyway, just wanted to try it out.

I wish I knew about these a long time ago. Love. Do the job and cheap, cheap, cheap. I am the type of girl that needs moisturizer on my lips at ALL times and this is my go to. Fits in my scrubs at work for easy access and last forever. Haven't had to rebuy yet and I apply this on the daily 3-4 times a day. They don't last for up to 8 hrs. as they would have you believe but it does last and it feels so silky on your lips. Won't hurt your pocketbook to try.
