Beauty Product Reviews

The Worst

Literally the worst product. The packaging is terribly cheap, there are only like 8 pieces in here and they are just crap. Barely worth $5, certainly not $18.

OMG

So, I am typically a very warm scented lady. My number 1 being Tom Ford Noir de Noir. I find most Jo Malone fragrances to be very light and pretty. There is nothing wrong with that, it just isn't my scent profile. But, Velvet Rose and Oud is EVERYTHING. It's warm and light and spicy without being overbearing. I typically despise floral scents, particularly rose, but for some reason this one seems to be what dreams are made of. Also, get the body cream. It is so decadent. You will LOVE it.

It's a No

I mistakenly thought these were the same as The London Brush Company cleaners that I'd bought on Beautylish before. They aren't, every time I use my brushes after washing with this, I break out.

Roomy

This bag is very well made and a lot bigger than I expected! I can fit full size hair products in it. The fact that the inside seems super easy to clean is a plus.

It's good

I have no complaints about this. The fact that I can get a primer mixed with a balm makes my life one step easier. I loke the minty smell and feel and my lipsticks do stay all day, even through eating and drinking.

The best

I have tried every eyeliner under the sun. This is the ONLY one that doesn't move. And I mean not at all! I use Dior eye makeup remover and ot still doesn't budge! Will definitely be buying the other colors.

Beautiful

Papaya/Topaz is the most beautiful color on deeper skintones. I wore this all summer and got nothing but compliments on my skin. I tend to steer clear of cream blushes as I am super oily, but I dusted just the lightest hint of setting powder over this and it didn't budge.

Disappointed

I wanted to love this palette, unfortunately it just didn't deliver for me. The shadows were very powdery and with a lot of fallout. Also, on me, these shades did absolutely nothing.

Love it

I use this to brighten up under eyes on myself and my clients. It also makes for greta highlighting. It's one color, but works for all skintones. I personally use it UNDER concealer for my darker clients and on top for my fair clients. It brightens without looking overdone and looks beautiful in photos.

Does EXACTLY what it says

I stopped using HD setting powders because honestly, they all turned very ashy looking on my skintone. I also have VERY oily skin. This powder is perfection. It doesn't change the look of my makeup, nor does it give me a white cast. I use the powder puff to pat it on then buff it in with a mineral powder brush. It gives me a flawless, matte airbrushed look that lasts all day with no touchups!!!
