Summer Coolant
I'm a girl from Texas, meaning summers are ridiculously hot. As such, I try to do things that will keep my cool. This mask is definitely one of them. From the moment the mask gets on my face, I feel the nice chill and soothing cool that really diminishes the Texas heat. I don't have much acne anymore, but I still use the mask as a great way to freshen my face and take out all the toxins that make be lurking on and under my skin. The great thing about this mask is that you can use it anytime, anywhere, and however much you really need. Some days, especially when my face is feeling grimy, I will cover my entire face and let the mask sit for a while. Other days, its just the area around my nose that gets oily, so I will only apply there. No matter what you use it for, the mask is not only convenient to use, but it actually works. I would be very careful about using hot water to clean the mask off though. Warm is about the max, but the hotter the water, the drier my skin feels. I try to make sure the water is just above lukewarm since I have had the best results with that. It is a good temperature to where I don't dread having my face splashed with too much cold, but I also don't have to risk my skin feeling dry afterwards. Another thing is to not put on too much. You only need a thin layer on your face. There is no need to cake the mask one, otherwise you are just wasting product. This a product that gives you more bang for the buck and I have gotten so many friends hooked to it. This one really does work!
No More Scales
This body lotion is one that has done wonders for my skin. I was a swimmer for over 10 years, so the scales weren't necessarily reserved just for fish. I had really dry skin and could go through a standard sized bottle of lotion in about two weeks. I picked this up at Whole Foods when it was on sale, thinking I would try it out and see what happened. What ended up happening was me going back to Whole Foods and buying out the shelf on the last day of the sale. Mineral Fusion's lotion made my skin look so healthy and bright and wonderful! That ashy undertone went away after a couple of days and the ashiness everywhere was gone after a week. Everyone knows how hard it can be to get the elbows and knees to not look ashy, but this lotion took care of that problem. Even with my hands, the dryness was gone after about a week. With constantly washing hands, this was the only thing that allowed me to get them feeling soft again. I also use this lotion on my heel after using a pumice stone on them. It is super soothing for my skin. I put this lotion on my feet and then put socks on, while also lotioning up my hands and putting gloves on, all before going to bed. My skin drank the lotion and in the morning, my feet and hands were really soft. Everything about this lotion is amazing. Even the scents are wonderful! I love using Sunstone in the morning to wake me up, and Earthstone at night to calm me down. Love, love, love it!
Goddess Hair
So I have really curly hair. I mean ridiculously curly hair. And most of the time there is a constant battle between my hair and me. But I recently started using this spray for my styling days and the difference I have seen is absolutely incredible. I saw a difference after the first time using it. A lot of hairsprays I have used in the past leave my hair feeling really stiff and like sticks. But this spray has my hair feeling bouncy and light. Which is absolutely phenomenal considering that it also keeps my curls bouncy and defined. All I have to do is spray and scrunch. Depending on what kind of hair you have, you may want to spray the bottom of your hair, near the nape of the neck as well. I have a lot of baby hairs there so the spray keeps them under control. With this spray, I can also spray my comb and comb down fly aways without having to spray my whole head, and the hair stays where I want it to. The great thing about this hair spray is that it has a good hold on your hair but also allows your hair to have a really great flow to it. Goodbye to the disgusting frizzy mane that I have some days, and hello to hair that is fit for a Greek goddess!
Sweet and Sexy
To be quite honest, I was really skeptical about trying this lip pencil. I have darker lips, and that hasn't exactly left me with the best experiences while using a lip pencil. However, I was totally surprised by how awesome this pencil is! I got it in two shade, a bold magenta and pink-brown. Let me tell you, both of these colors were absolutely fabulous. For me, I sometimes have to pack on the pinks to get that color to really show. But the pink brown pencil was so smooth and the color was bright enough to wear I only had to coat my lips once. Once! And the magenta was vivid and brilliant as I added more to my lips. The great thing about these pencils is that one or two coats gives you that lovely color, something good for the office and day time. But then if you start layering more, the color becomes that much more vibrant, making it a sexy addition to your evening look. I actually used the magenta for a dinner party and it was a hit! I definitely recommend this product. It is worth it!
It does last!
I just recently started using this matte lipstick, and honestly, was really surprised by how well it works! I have darker lips, so sometimes finding a lighter shade of lipstick can be hard, considering that it generally looks weird. The my natural lips always seem to show through and it makes using softer pinks really difficult. However, I didn't have such a problem with this matte lipstick. The first time I used it, the color covered my lips and I wasn't left with strangely colored lips. For the most part. I also happen to have a natural lip liner, which is kind of a darker brownish color. The matte didn't really cover that up too well, but then again, it could have been the shade I picked. I have tried other shades in this matte lipstick, a pink-brown kind of shade, and that worked incredibly well. The only thing I would say about this product other than the fact that it is awesome, is to make sure you are careful about the shade you pick.
Light As A Feather
I was a swimmer for over 12 years, and as a result, my hair was a rough and dry and coarse nest on top of my head. I started using Dove's conditioner about a year ago and have seen such a difference. My hair is now super soft and bouncy and light. Not to mention, you can now see the volume in my hair rather than just a frizzy mess. Yes my hair still does frizz up, but not to as bad of an extent as it did before. My hair feels silky smooth now, and I can run my hands through it without my fingers coming out all scratched up. I actually enjoy doing things with my hair now. It has become easy to work with and the curls look really good. I definitely will keep using this!
Bold and Beautiful
I have to say I am a HUGE fan of this liner. I am definitely someone who likes liquid liner better than gel and most pencils, and this product is kind of the reason why. Sephora's liner is so smooth that it works on every kind of style I want. Whether I am doing a simple application of liner for the day, or using it to get that perfect smokey look for going out, the liner glides on perfectly. Even over eye shadow, this liner doesn't falter. And the colors are so bold. Not only are they bright, but they are also very full and vivid. If you decide to wear a dark blue, it will look like that shade of blue and not turn into looking like black (which has happened in the past). Every color is so unique and vibrant. I absolutely LOVE IT.
Silky Smooth!
I am a girl with curly hair. And I mean ridiculously curly. And with that comes the territory of also having hair that loves to get big and frizzy and wild. So you can imagine the time and energy it takes for me to straighten my hair. I have to sit there with my straightener going over pieces of hair multiple times to get it straight, which of course leaves my hair fired like a french fry. But when I started using this product, my hair actually made it through all the straightening. Afterwards, my hair didn't feel coarse and gross, nor did it have that dry and dead look. My hair was really smooth and flowed like it does in L'Oreal commercials. I definitely recommend this product because it gets the job done really well. The only thing is to be mindful that you don't use too much. As soon as that happens, your hair will start to take on a sticky and slimy kind of feel which is definitely not going to make a positive statement. Happy styling!
This is probably the greatest thing that has ever happened to my hair. I used this all the time when I swam competitively and the Argan Oil is probably the only thing that kept my hair smooth. I used it every night and it did wonders for my hair. It is a little more viscous than other oils out there, but it also gets the job done better than a lot of other oils. I actually use this instead of hairspray sometimes after I have curled my hair. Scrunch in a little bit of the oil and the curls stay. Plus, it smells absolutely amazing! I have frizzy hair, especially when it is humid outside, and this keeps my hair tame in a way that a lot of other products can't. Honestly, I swear by this product!
I was a swimmer for about 12 years, so dry skin is something that I have had such an issue with. However, this moisturizer was so perfect for my skin. The first time I used it, it felt like my skin was drinking in the lotion. Ever since this is the lotion that I use. It hasn't left my face feeling oily and it rubs on smoothly. This lotion also feels absolutely amazing after taking make up off. I tend to scrub my face a little hard with make up remover but this is so soothing afterwards.
