So Soothing and Smells Amazing

I have just started trying out the Blue Cocoon, but so far I am in love. The first thing you will notice is the color. It's such a beautiful deep blue that you hardly ever see in skincare products. This comes from the blue tansy ingredient. This ingredient also gives it an amazing scent.

Applying this product really makes me feel like I am doing something great for myself. It feels so nice an nourishing, and the results show. I apply it at night and the next morning the redness in my skin is dramatically reduced, which is one of my main skincare concerns.

Little by little, I am completely falling in love with May Lindstom's line. I have yet to try something from her that is not amazing!

Worth the Investment

When you are used to buying drug store brushes (not that they are bad!), the leap to natural hair prices can be a bit jarring. However, Wayne's brushes really make it worth it. The blue squirrel hair is so soft and feels so nice on your skin.

I have very sensitive skin, so I really appreciate the gentleness with which this brush applies product. I am also extremely pale, so I need to be careful with how much product I apply to avoid looking like a clown. This brush makes it so easy to apply the perfect amount of blush, bronzer, setting powder...there's really not much you can't use it for!

If you are considering making the leap to natural hair brushes, I cannot recommend Wayne Goss enough!

Multipurpose Love

I love a multipurpose, so no wonder this cremé is one of my faves! When I started using it, I was using it strictly at night as a heavy duty moisturizer. And while it is extremely moisturizing, the texture is so light and refreshing it does not feel heavy.

At the same time, I was experiencing issues finding a primer that would work well for my skin. I experimented with different primers, and still had not found my go to. That's when I remembered this product can also be used as a primer and decided to give it a shot.

Of course, it worked amazingly as a primer too! This stuff is that good. My skin looks so much smoother now and foundation does not cling to dry spots.

If I could only bring 5 beauty products to a desert island with me, the Lait-Crème Concentré would be coming along.

My Go-To When Feeling Dry

When my skin is feeling exceptionally dry, this serum is the first thing I reach for. The texture feel really refreshing and nourishing to dehydrated skin. It almost has a cooling effect that makes me feel like I am doing something really healing for my skin.

I like to use this the following way: Cleanse, apply the Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and then follow up with the Vinosource Serum. The addition of the hyaluronic acid allows the Vinosource Serum to penetrate your skin more deeply, so you wake up with insanely hydrated and plump skin.

A Solution to an Annoying Problem

Recently, I noticed that I absolutely could not get foundation to "stick" to my nose and last throughout the day. It was something that annoyed me every morning when I did my makeup, so I knew I had to find some sort of solution.

So far, this primer has really helped mattify my nose and soak up any excess oil, therefore allowing foundation to stick better. I apply it only to my nose, and sometimes my forehead and chin depending on how oily they feel that day. The primer applies really easily, but still mattifys quickly so you can begin applying your makeup right away. It as a pleasant scent and texture which is appreciated, and the packaging is very nice. I like the upside down pump, and feel like I will get the most out of the product since the way it is designed allows it to stand upside down, pushing all the product towards the pump.

This primer is so great for anyone with oily skin who wants a matte finish and wants their makeup to last!

Great for Cat Eye Lovers

My go to look for years has been a nice, bold, black cat eye. It instantly makes me feel put together, and just a bit sassier.

Unfortunately in the morning I don't have a ton of time to get ready, so I really need a great black liquid liner to making doing a cat eye as easy and quick as possible. We all know the torture of having a bad "cat eye" day-- where it feel like it takes you an hour to get them both even and looking right. For the most part, the liquid liner from Stila does the trick.

Pros: I am a felt tip gal, so this liner fits the bill. The product flows out nicely through the tip, so application is smooth and easy. The color is opaque and dark with one swipe.

Cons: So far I only have one-- when going over areas where liner has already been applied, I find that this liner will take away product, rather than apply more. This can be tough when doing a cat eye where you may go over the same spot multiple times during application.

However, I can see myself continuing to use this liner when I run out, replacing my longtime go-to KVD liner.

A Subtle but Lovely Smell

I was looking for a shampoo that left your hair feeling light, as my hair was feeling extremely weighed down and flat. The Oat Milk shampoo from Klorane sounded like it would do the trick!

So far, I am very happy with the performance of this shampoo. It does not make my hair feel limp and lifeless, which is what I was experiencing prior. Most of all, I really love the smell. It is very subtle, but has a freshness to it that I really enjoy.

My one complaint is that it does not lather as much as other shampoos, so it took a bit to get used to. Other than that, Klorane was the answer to my problems!

A Great Intro to AHA/BHA Peels

I am pretty new to the world of peels, but the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment has made me a believer.

To start, I really like the packaging. It feels like a really thick glass bottle, and I love the stopper inside the bottle that takes away excess product from the dropper.

Even though I have not used a peeling treatment before, my skin actually did not tingle when applying. I could noticeably see my skin was brighter and smoother the next morning and got super excited! I now use this treatment about three times a week, and I continue to be extremely happy with the results I see the following day.

For anyone who hasn't used a peeling solution before but is interested in trying one, I highly suggest this one from Good Molecules. It's gentle enough for beginners, but potent enough to quickly show noticeable results.

You Can Feel it Working!

This is the first eye cream I have ever bought-- I was so behind the times! I am 28, and was starting to notice more fine lines around my eyes and wanted to address them ASAP. Before purchasing the Dew It All Total Eye Cream I thought, "why can't I just put regular face moisturizer on my eyes?"

Once I used this product, I knew the answer to that question. This eye cream is so much more rich and heavy feeling than any face moisturizer-- and for good reason! The skin around your eyes is delicate and needs some extra love. I could feel the weightiness of this moisturizer right when I applied it, and it felt like it was really working to nourish the skin around my eyes.

I have been using this every night for three months, and I still have a decent amount left. Once I finally do run out, I will certainly be repurchasing.

A Must Try For Skincare Lovers

Over the last year or so, I have become a bit of a skincare product junkie. It seemed that if I claim to love skincare, I must at least try the notorious Vintner's Daughter serum. I've heard and read so much about it, that I just had to see if it lived up to the hype!

I will say that the scent is much stronger than I expected, but I have grown to love it. The dropper is really nice and it definitely feels like a high end luxury item when you are using it. I use this serum every other night, and for me, it is moisturizing enough on its own to use without any sort of moisturizer.

I can definitely notice a brightness to my skin the morning after using Vintner's Daughter. What I love most about it is it does not break me out, which happens to me with a lot of similar products. My only wish is that it addressed my skin redness a bit more, as it is one of my biggest skin concerns. I may switch to using this every night to see if results become more noticeable!
