Great product

I have naturally coloured hair that is really full, corase, normal and frizzy. I tried this product because it was advertised to be sulfate free and claimed to keep corase hair smooth without silicone. After coming back from a vacation where the water was really hard I wanted to try a different shampoo than what I had been previously using (Tresemme). I thought that the next time I went on vacation I wanted to bring something tested out that would work well with hard water. I really like the smell of this product, it smells mildly like coconut butter. This product makes my hair feel really soft and it also blow dries out really straight. I also find that when I'm rinsing this product out in the showers I can easily run my hands through my hair without any tangles even before conditioner. The only issue I have with this product is that at my local drugstores this product is more than what I usually want to pay for, for a shampoo, and the size of the bottle isn't too large. BUT since it does work so well for me, I think the little bit of extra money is worth the product! So this is something that I would highly recommend to try. Especially if your area has hard water!

Not too impressed

I got to try a good sized sample of this product. I was really intrigued by the look and texture of this product. It was nice because you only needed a little bit of this to exfoliate your face with. The smell also wasn't too strong which was nice since Lush products always make me worry about it having a really strong and intense smell. I used this product once a week. This did make my face feel smooth and clean afterwards but after using it for a while I didn't really see a big enough difference in my skin. I know that this product is quite pricely so as a main exfoliant I would take a pass on this.

Great base

The first China Glaze product I tried was this base. It was really well priced and easy to apply. The formula is nice and thin, the brush is very flexible so it gives you good control just like the China Glaze coloured polishes. The formula does help to keep your nails from getting stained when you use dark colours and it fills over ridges if you do have any. This product dries quickly and makes the polish application go on nice and smooth. I do find that this product does not make you nails as hard as other bases that I've tried. Also this isn't too great of an adhesive for applying gems and other nail art (I have had gems fall off when using this base. Otherall I do like this product because of the price point, but it's not the best that I've tried

Great product

I really like this top coat. Now it is the only one that I use. I find that it gives a nice glossy finish to your manicure even if you accidentally smug your polish or left a print on it. You can also wear 2-3 coats of this and it doesn't crack or chip for up to 2 weeks. This top coat is well priced and does last you a long time. When doing nail art I find that this top coat really helps to keep the gems or other nail art pieces that are added on to the nail (very VERY rarely have I lost a gem after using this to seal my nail). Most importantly, this top coat helps to make your nails rock hard, even if you have to use your hands a lot and don't treat your nails too carefully this will keep your manicure looking great. After a period of time this top coat does get thicker and more goopy, but sometimes I find that is good for sealing down a single gem stone or nail art piece. At that point this formula isn't good for using on the rest of your nails, but there isn't going to be much product left in the bottle anyways. This is a must buy item for me!

Love!

I have a range of colours from China Glaze, from lights to darks. Currently, from my collection I prefer the darker shades more. I really like all of them that I've tried. I only buy these at a beauty wholesell supply store in my local area (which is members only), so they offer this brand for a great price (it's comparative to drugstore brand pricing!). I find that the formula is nice and thin which allows you to get a good sense of control that allows for very even coating. I find that the brush is really nice too, it's softer/more flexible than drugstore brands which is great for doing French tips. Even though the formula is thin, the colour pay off that you get with even one coat is what you see in the bottle. These polishes dry fast as well, and they are long wearing (if you use base and top coat it will last you at least 2 weeks with minimum chipping). This would be product that I recommend, these are comparible to OPI but at a better price.

Favourite shades: Seductive, and Shockly Pink

I use heat tools on my hair daily and a heat protectant is very important for me especially since I do have dry ends. I've tried many different brands before I picked up this one, but this one was at such a great price and one bottle of this will last a really long time even if you use it daily. The bottle is nice and thin so it's really easy to store alongside all the other products that I have. The spray nozzle is easy to use and it doesn't get clogged up which is really good. I find that the spray is light, it doesn't make you hair greesy, stiff, sticky, dry or gives you flaking. Even washing my hair every other day when using this product it still works like a dream. I highly recommend this product, it can live up to all the standards that the pricier protectants have.

Useful

Let me start out by saying that this was one of the hardest makeup item to get my hands on. This item was sold out at Sephora in both my local stores and online. BUT finally after having my fingers crossed I was able to get my hand on this palette in a Sephora in the USA. I was so excited and I held on to it for dear life. I have very fair skin and I usually wear barely there eyeshadow on a daily basis. So this palette was something new for me since it had 12 colours that I could experiment with and there wasn't really my ususal barely there colour in the palette. I had puchased this about a month ago, at $48USD and it came with the brush and primer potion. FIrst off I actually find that the primer potion in the original formula that comes with the palette is quite greesy feeling in comparison to Eden which is what I usually wear, and I still prefer that one more. I actually found that the wand applicator didn't really help since you still need to use your fingers to blend it in. So on to the palette, I was sad that mine came with the brush instead of the 24/7 liners which I have been wanting to try as well (the shade Zero is also always sold out), honestly, I don't really care for the eyeshadow brush that it comes with and I don't use it either. The packaging for the palette is something that I've never had, I think I still prefer the classical packaging of palette in plastic cases, it somehow feels like my eyeshadows would be safer in there instead of the paper/cardboard box with a magentic closure. I do like how the box is seek and thin, which makes it great for travelling and carrying around in your purse. There is quite a neutral range of colours in the palette; organized from lighest to darkest. I find that only the lighter shades give me a more neutral look, otherwise all the other colours are more darker than I like it to be. I don't feel like I can personally wear a smokey eye daily. The palette also has mostly shimmery shades, which are nice but since the colours are so pigmentated, it's a lot of shimmer even if you don't intentionally use a lot of product. The colours are quite easy to blend out, even though some of the shades are dark, depending on how I wear it and how much I blend, I can tone down the colour a bit more. So I would say that blending is really the key to this palette if you want it to be neutral. The eyeshadows have great staying power, and if you use eye primer there is no creasing. The shimmery shades are easy take off as well with just cleanser or eye makeup remover. I have no problems wearing these shades on my lower lashes, it stays in place for the whole day. Overall I've had a lot of use with palette, and I find that you can create so many different looks with just using the palette alone and a lot of the colours in it can also compliment other colours that you might have in your makeup collection. I've only repeated a couple of looks that I've created with this palette, otherwise I've been wearing different looks daily. This palette was a good buy for me, I just wish that I got the eyeliner pencils instead and also that it might have a couple more lighter shades that could give me a more neutral look. If you have medium to dark skin I think that most of these colours in this palette would be more neutral for you. I think also if I were to travel, this would be a palette that I would definately take with me, it can take me from light neutral to drama with just the 12 colours.

Favourites: Virgin, Sin, Creep and Half Baked Least used colour: Sidecar (I really tried to love this, beacuse the colour is so gorgeous but I'm a bit thrown off by the dense sparkle that the shadow gives)

Darkest mascara ever!

This is a great mascara for getting a super dark colour. I've used this in Blackest Black and Carbon Black (which is actually darker than the Blackest Black, and that is already very dark!). The packaging for this is great. I find that I really like the stopper on this mascara, it cleans up the wand really nicely leaving not too much product on the wand, giving you just the right amount of product. I only use this product on my upper lashes. The wand itself is rubber, but until the CoverGirl Lashblast wand it's not super thick; giving you more control. The formula for this is quite wet, so I find that if you let it sit there for about a week it gets better since it thickens up just a bit. I find that if you immediately use this right after you open it, it tends to not hold a curl very well. If you wear about 2-3 coats of this I find that it gives you excellent volume and length. There is no clumping from this at all! The only thing is if you use this daily it won't last you too long. This is something that I have repurchased and that I would recommend; especially since there is always sales on this product so you can get it for around $6-7.

Works so well!

I recently purchased this mascara and I absolutely love it! I bought it in Blackest Black. I swear by Diorshow mascara, but who doesn't like a cheaper alternative? The packaging of this is fairly large and it has weird angles on the tube which actually helps you to get a good grip to open the mascara. I really like the sleek gold packaging, makes it stand out from all the other mascaras that I do own. I have really sparse, straight and short lashes (pretty much barely there on its own). The formula of this mascara actually has fibres in it that create the look of long lashes. The fibres in the mascara make this a drier formula, so wearing more than 2 layers will clump but you can layer it with other mascaras to complete the look. I find that using this alone it gives you the longer lashes look, but it doesn't really volumize the lashes, so you can layer on a volumizing mascara (I just use Diorshow for that). By doing that you will get a false lash effect! The formual is very black as well which is another thing I love. This mascara cleans off easy, just using makeup remover or cleaner it comes right off. Also if you make a mistake and get some on your eyelid when applying, just using water on a Q-tip will get it right off. This mascara takes me from barely there lashes to a false lash effect so I would recommend this product, but the word of caution is not to use it alone and wear too many coats.

Not too impressed

I bought this to protect my nails since I do wear nail polish all the time. I wasn't too impressed with this formula because it made my nails too hard. To a point that a slightly rougher knock to my nail actually made the whole thing clip off (to almost my nail bed). I think if you have really weak nails this might help you since it does help to make your nails hard and that will give more strength to them; prevent breakage as well. I still use this sometimes if I notice that one or a couple of my nails have started peeling, it helps to strengthen them from further damage. I think before you purchase this just consider first what condition your nails are in currently.
