stunning!

this was my first tom ford face product purchase (along with the afterglow palette) and it is absolutely stunning! the yellow gold highlighter is seriously my favorite thing in the world. it gives an extremely beautiful glow without looking too chunky. the rose gold i actually use a blush (mac nc25-30) because it's definitely rosy enough, but i can see it working beautifully as a highlighter for deeper skintones.

the highlighters apply like butter and diffuse nicely into the skin (you don't get that stark line between highlighted and non-highlighted skin; it's seamless!). i often times apply it with a brush first, then go in with my finger in specific areas to give t a real pop. i know it's a wet/dry formula but i've only tried it dry so far, but i can only imagine it wears just as beautifully wet. it can be as sheer as you want it or as blinding as you want it, and that's the beauty of this duo. i find the "type of highlight" to be a more 3-dimensional kind of highlight and gives your face a lot of depth. it also works beautifully on the eyes and i often use it for my tearducts and brow bone for an all around coherent glow.

overall, it's absolutely beautiful and i highly recommend it!

meh.

I have the duo in 206 and it isn't anything special. The midnight blue is absolutely beautiful but after about 30 minutes the color fades to a silver, which if I want silver shadow I'll just buy silver shadow. Pretty disappointed in that, especially from a high-end brand. The duo is 212 is much better, but I wish the white shade was more pigmented. Overall I'm not impressed with these shadows and I prefer to purchase shadows from Urban Decay or ABH.

my favorite

I absolutely love this product! I have the shade in No. 1 because the salmon tint to it is perfect for undereye circles! The formula is so lightweight and blendable. It's not cakey at all and I cannot recommend this more. I've already converted a few and clients to this product and upon application, they loved it!

amazing!

This cleansing water is one of the best ones I've used. I love using this for when I'm conducting swatches or trying out different lip products. One thing I don't like about it is that it contains parabens. Other than that, I highly recommend this to cleansing water-lovers.

amazing!

This is the most amazing pore-filling primer! This replaced my previous HG smoothing primer and ever since I purchased this I've only been using it. I have combination skin and this isn't too drying for my dry areas or too dewy for my oily areas, it's just perfect. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to fill in pores and smooth the complexion.

not bad.

I had high hopes for the foundation but it's just... Okay.

First off I had difficulty finding my right shade, even though I ended up with Punjab, it's still too golden for my skintone, but the medium shade is down-pat. I'm not impressed with the shade selection.

As far as application goes, DO NOT USE A BEAUTYBLENDER. It doesn't work well with a beautyblender, unless you use the BB dry. I use a kabuki brush or stippling brush and it works much better.

I find this foundation a bit problematic. I have combination skin with no dry patches and minimal oily areas, but this doesn't create an overall flawless base for me. I don't find myself happy with the foundation and it isn't a "one-drop wonder" for me. It does feel lightweight on the skin, I'll give it that much, but I prefer the CoverFX Custom Cover Drops, especially given the money you spend on this foundation.

beautiful palette!

Too Faced is probably one of my favorite lines and this palette is no exception from the various products they sell. this product is the matte rendition of the Natural Eyes palette, meaning there are some repeat shades: Heaven, Nude, Cashmere Bunny, and Sexpresso. If you have the Natural Eyes Palette, then you're already familiar with the performance of their matte shadows. The palette performs beautifully, with highly pigmented shades and a long wear-time. These don't crease on my eyes and the color doesn't fade throughout the day.

While the shadows are relatively blendable, they're a tad bit difficult to blend upon initial contact with the skin, but that only adds to its long-wearing characteristic.

Overall this palette is amazing and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Great for foundation and powder contouring!

This is definitely a great foundation brush! It's nice and dense and made of high quality. The soft bristles make for a great finish and allow you to really control how you apply your foundation. One thing that surprised me was how much shorter the bristles are than I expected them to be. Not only is it great for applying foundation, but the angled feature also makes it perfect for contouring with a powder. The only con I found in regards to this brush is when it comes to liquid contouring the short and compact bristles make sure your liquids stay in place, which makes creating a perfect blend--between your natural color and contour color--very difficult. A looser, duo-fibre brush is better for liquid contouring. Overall, this is a great brush and well worth the money!
