Looks like Kohl but acts like gel

I love the dark, matte pigments in kohl liners but they have the tendency to run, smear or simply fade throughout my day. I must blink a lot or squint a lot but this liner stay puts. Usually gels only last on my top lids but I've had success lining my waterline with this without it moving or needing a touchup. This beats many other high-end prestige brands out there. If you're an eye liner junkie, add this one to your collection!

Forgot I had foundation on...

Basically, I put this on in the morning and went about my chores. At some point before I was heading out my door, I thought to myself that I should put on some make-up. So I looked in the mirror and was confused to why my skin already looked great and then I remembered I had used Kjaer Weis foundation in the morning! It feels like nothing on the skin - I swear. Organic skin products aren't important to me but I do love Kjaer Weis's line and I really hope she comes out with a nice powder!

Lash curler addict's favorite

As a MUA, I carry a wide range of lash curlers to be ready for all eye shapes. Actually, I've collected SO many lash curlers over the years from all over the world but Kevyn's curler has always been my trusty curler. It's the one I rely on when the others don't work so I'm not sure why I even HAVE the other ones in my kit. I recommend replacing your curler at least once a year. It sounds crazy but actually with any tool that moves, the hinges do wear down and become looser and this will misalign how it closes on your lashes which cause pinching.

Basically the most natural way to remove makeup!

I'm not all that organic or natural ingredient loving kind of person but after I removed and redid my eye make-up 6 times one night (I was trying to figure out a very specific look...) my eye was completely raw from my old make-up remover (hello unknown drugstore brand) I had to grab this. It was exactly what my eyes needed. After removing my daily eye make-up I dabbed a bit on to soothe my sensitive skin and overnight it healed up and rehydrated my delicate skin. It smells amazing and it really pleasant to use. For eye contact wearers, I'd suggest taking out our contacts first before you use this. I didn't because I've somehow mastered how to remove make-up without ever getting anything blurring up my vision but I know the feeling! It's also perfect for removing lipstick without weird tastes like many other make-up removers which is why I've been known to just always have lipstick on up until the point I'm forced to take it off before bed since I've HATED the way other make-up removers made my lips feel afterwards. Love this!

4 hours of sleep looking like 8....

I'm not sure how I lived without this before. I'm not condoning poor sleep habits but when I'm feeling extremely exhausted, I kind of expect my face to show this but I'm pleasantly surprised when I actually look rested. It's well pigmented but not cakey and you can build up a full coverage or light. Since it has highlighting properties in the formula, your skin actually reflects light making your skin look brighter. A lot of people compare this to YSL Touche Eclat - I can see similarities except this is WAY more luxurious than YSL. The rose infused concealer is pretty addicting. I keep this in my purse for touchups but I've never had to actually use it because it stays put!

Travel perfection

Recently, I've become obsessed with traveling light. As someone who doesn't enjoy clutter I've started to condense my make-up bag when I'm boarding a plane so I can fit all my stuff into a carryon. I don't care about the baggage fees, it's mostly the hassle of claiming your baggage. I want to spend as little time in the airport as possible! Instead of carrying an entire bottle of your favorite foundation, this little pen will dispense what you want and not break any liquids rules with the TSA. It's the exact same formula of Ellis FAAS's Skin Veil foundation. It's also a great starter if you're not fully committed to a full bottle yet! I keep this in my purse in case of touch-ups but mostly I try to save it for travels!

Simple, classic and elegant

Some people dislike the Ellis Faas pen format for eyeliner application. I admit, at the first use it does require you to twist the end a lot before the product comes out. I assume they made it this way to prevent leakage during shipping. Once that part is out of the way, it's an amazing formula. I was looking for a liner that was a true matte black. It's both opaque and very deep, dark black without any grey tones. It does not flake, smear or fade during the day. I wore it all day and spent my day outdoors in the sun. I had forgotten my sunglasses so I did a lot of squinting. Despite that, it stayed beautiful and perfect just as it did in the morning. I almost felt bad for wiping it off at the end of the day because it was totally still intact.

The applicator brush does a thicker line so it's perfect for those retro matte 50's and 60's liner looks. It's tapered so you can get right into the lash line. The formula itself is almost like a gel consistency so it's easier to work with than watery liquid liners. It dries to a powder matte in about 1 minute.

Bright, rested and hydrated!

Finally a brightening moisturizer that actually does what it says! I love this balm because I find that the usual "anti-aging" creams/products out there are so heavy they actually just sit on my skin. I'm probably in the younger side of their target demographic but I find BY TERRY's Baume D'EAU is suitable for those early wrinkles as well. It is the gel formula that makes the difference. Gel is usually more easily absorbed into the skin which means your skin is actually taking in the ingredients properly. I'm quite surprised how "rested" I look after a long day. With this, my make-up stays bright and fresh and I rarely need a touch-up. I use this with the BY TERRY DENSILISS SERUM PRIMER. My personal fave duo.

When I first got this balm, I was a bit confused. Cleanser? Mask? Balm? I used it all 3 ways and I found that it's an amazing versatile product. My skin as been severely dehydrated due to the weather changes so I started using it as a balm at night. I wake up in the morning with seriously baby soft skin. This is my favorite use of this balm followed by using it as a mask. I can see this being useful in a MUA kit to quickly remove make-up without the use of water and without stripping oils from the skin.

It smells great but if you're concerned about scents it doesn't last very long =)

If you use this at night as a balm don't forget to put it on your neck!

For all the lipstick fans

I don't go anywhere without lipstick. Usually, really bright red and deep bold colors so my lips definitely suffer lipstick abuse despite me using a good primer. I use BY TERRY's Baume de Rose every night before bed and every morning before I go about my make-up routine. It's DIVINE. I've noticed that my lips have become much more supple and my lipstick doesn't dry out as fast either during the day. It's definitely the most expensive lip product I own (I think....) but part of wearing great quality make-up is starting off with some great skin care so you're making the best of those products. Definite fan. A jar will last you a long time just don't lose it like we all tend to lose lip balms =)
