MILAN FASHION WEEK S/S 2012

Graphic patterns and bold colors in '20s silhouettes were the backbone of Etro's spring/summer 2012 collection, and were accompanied by an androgynous makeup palette. Makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury kept the look contemporary, with silvery, grey eyes, and nude lips.

Charlotte began with MAC Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation, using it to even skin tone and create a flawless finish. She set the foundation with MAC Pro Invisible Set Powder, blending it through the center of the face. For extra contouring on cheeks, she blended MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural Foundation under the cheekbones.

Strong, masculine brows were achieved by shading Fling Eye Brows through fully brushed out brows, then applying MAC Clear Brow Set to groom and shape. MAC Pro Mid-Tone Sepia Cream Colour Base was blended over the entire eyelid, Cake Mix Cream Eye Shadow and MAC Pro Gloss Texture were then layered over Mid-Tone Sepia for a glossy sheen. A slick of MAC Lofty Brown Zoomlash Mascara defined lashes. Lips were conditioned with MAC Lip Conditioner SPF 15 and MAC Pro Mid-Tone Sepia Cream Colour Base was blended lightly over the top.
