The look at Custo Barcelona's latest collection channels summer in cyberspace. "It's a very modern and clean take on natural beauty," said Maybelline New York Artist Gato Zamara. "Skin is flawless and almost silicone-like. Brows are strong and graphic. The lips have a sweet, shiny look."
Gato first applied Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation all over the face with his fingertips, then hid imperfections and darkness with Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer. He contoured and sculpted with Maybelline Fit Me! Bronzer and applied Maybelline Fit Me! Blush in Medium Coral for a hint of color on the apples of the cheeks. Instead of shadow or mascara, Gato focused on enhancing eye brows, defined and groomed with Maybelline Define-A-Brow Pencil. He gave models a mirrored, "cyber-inspired" coral lip with Maybelline Color Sensational High Shine Lipcolor in Coral Lustre.
Nails
Michina Koide led the nail team backstage at Custo Barcelona, choosing Essie Nail Polish in Braziliant, an orange hue bright enough to stand out from Custo's vibrant collection.
