Behind the Scenes with Billy B!

When Billy B offered us a sneak peek behind the scenes of his recent photo shoot with country singer Maggie Sajak, we jumped at the chance! Not only did the makeup guru—who has worked with Lady Gaga and Beyonce!—share exclusive images from the day, he also shared his inspiration for creating the ultra glamorous look on the crooner.

"I first worked with Maggie for her video 'First Kiss'. When I met Maggie, as I do when I meet anyone I work with—I studied her face. Often times, their reveal happens once the person is on the set in front of the camera. From one shot to another, I begin to see bits and pieces of who or what they can become," says Billy. "In the case of Maggie, I saw Brigitte Bardot and Sharon Tate. The look is a feeling. It's not about making someone into another person, but to give them the feeling of an icon or that iconic look."
