Needs to be Paraben Free!
I bought the Murad Live Clear Kit. This is a great moisturizer, satin finish. Most matte moisturizer suck the oils out of my face and turn it into sandpaper. It doesn't irritate or clog my pores. It doesn't have an offensive smell. BUT! I won't repurchase this because it isn't Paraben Free. Parabens react with UVA/UVB Rays and can cause skin cancer. If they reformulate it, I'll buy it.
In LOVE! Great Spring/Summer shade!
This was my birthday present. I'm so glad I asked for it! It's a beautiful pink coral shade, verging on the watermelon side. The satin formula is amazing. It stays locked on my lips, has a shine without looking glossy (after blotting), and is moisturizing. It doesn't feel cakey, heavy, gross, or drying one bit. The fat that there's 0.14 oz of product instead of the normal 0.08 has me completely sold! I put on Too Face Lip Insurance Primer under the lipstick went to dinner, I had soup, bread, and 3 glasses of water, this was still on my lips like new!
Dark Circle Eraser!!
I need this in a shade lighter, Y0. This is the only concealer I've found that covers my blue/purple vein dark circles. It's a miracle in a pot. It's a very creamy, but dry non greasy texture. It creeps in my under eye lines a tiny bit, but nothing that can't be blotted away. This is better pigmented than a full coverage foundation. Once I get the correct color, this along with the Skin Tint with be my holy grail products. This concealer is truly amazing. I also think their color range is great. However, I wish they'd go one stage lighter because I'm in the shade Y0 and I'm no where near Irish translucent white skin.
A Love Affair Ended Too Soon!
This is great, when you first buy it... It applies like butter. It's very black. I could do perfect winged liner with it. It isn't waterproof though. It doesn't hold on my waterline at all. It washes off if you swatch it on your hand and run water over it. If you have watery eyes it'll smear. So I'd say this is not for someone with allergies! This costs me $22 and it dried out in less than 4 months!! There was still about a quarter of liner in the pot. I would try to apply it and it would flake. It wouldn't even mix with any liner serums properly. I feel like the price was too expensive for how fast it dried out and that it isn't truly waterproof.
The Best For Reds
My grandma got this for my birthday this year. It's one of those things I've been battling to buy because it's such a simple product with a pricey ticket attached. BUT it solved a big part of my makeup insecurities! I dye my hair red, but I believe myself to be a redhead at heart. This works amazingly to match my hair. No matter what hue it is. The product glides on with my angled brushes. I do need my brush to be wet in order to have the product turn up nice and opaque. If everything else melts off my face, then I sleep in it, my brows will still look perfect without any brow gel. I won't be buying any other brow product ever again.
It gave my skin a rash!
I got this as a Christmas gift. The pigmentation is iffy. Some of the shades are amazingly pigmented, blendable, and smooth. Almost all the greens are no problem, the reds, and browns. However, I have very sensitive ecxema prone skin. The shadows made my eye irritated and red. It made the outer corners of my eyelids red and cracked. I was playing with my makeup and put colors all over my face, and my neck got a rash. I want to say this is decent, but because of my skin reaction I just can't recommend it at all.
AMAZING!
As soon as I got this today, I quickly grabbed all my brushes and started cleaning! I used 2 sprays max on my face brushes, and one spray on the eye brushes. I sprayed them, then started swirling the brush around in the jar. This got out foundation, cream liner, foiling mediums, just everything! I didn't even soak my brush in the liquid and everything came out! I had a white blending brush that was stained green and it's perfectly white again. I have been hesitant to buy more expensive brush cleaners because I have to wash my brushes so often. I cleaned all my brushes, 2 Eco Tools Sets, Bdellium Tools 12 pc. Eye Kit, 2 Real Technique Sets, Sedona Lace 12 Pc Synthetic Set, and a few miscellaneous brushes with just A QUARTER OF THE BOTTLE! That's about 50 brushes. I'm truly stunned, I didn't think I could love something this basic so much. Also, I ordered this Thursday night, and got it Saturday afternoon. I also mixed this with with shampoo and olive oil for deep cleaning my brushes and it worked like a dream!! The Beautylish Team also wrote a personalized note card. They're definitely getting more of my business.
Great!
I have a mini size from a kit. This works great when I want to do a bold eye and lip, but don't want my skin to look dead. I dab it onto my cheeks, then blend it in with a small duet fiber face brush. This gives a glow and slight color to my cheeks without it being a very noticeable blush. I love this because I'm so pale and contour or bronzer looks like dirt on my skin. This gives my face some warmth when I don't want anything over the top. It has great staying power. It stays on the full 12 hours I wear my makeup.
Gets the job done
This came in my 10 pc. eye brush kit. I think it does a great job. It's not too thin, not too thick. I use it with liner or shadow. It gets into my lash line nicely. It's great for a quick smoked out line on the upper or lower lash line. Bdellium Tools prices are amazing. The handles are just the right size, which is a big issue I have with my brushes. This is also very easy to clean.
