Beautiful Color!

I love Sparkling Wine, it is such a beautiful color and I don't own any color like this one. Sparkling Wine is a dark plum, rust, burgundy color with gold shimmer, the best i can describe it. If you're a MAC lover, many people say this is a dupe for Trax. The color does seem to go on sheer when using a brush, but when using the applicator it comes with it goes on much truer to color. I love using this color for a day time smoky eye, since it's not too dark. You get a lot of product and the price is already cheap, but I wait until they are on clearance at Rite-Aid for like a little over $1, plus you can find $1 coupons in the store usually. The packaging is nice and small too, so great for traveling.

Disappointed

When I seen Dance Party in the store I thought, wow these colors are beautiful I gotta have them. Unfortunately, when I got home and used them they were not true to color, even with a primer. The swatches on my hand come out true to color, but sadly not on my eye. I must say I actually really love the light color in this trio, it's very pigmented and true to color. This color works great for all over the lid and a highlight, this is a very light pink with some shimmer and it just looks beautiful on. Now the middle color is a dusty brightish purple color with big chunky gold glitter though it. Now this color could be used in the crease for a pop of color, but you will need primer to actually be able to see it at all. The darkest color is surprisingly the least pigmented, barely any color is seen even in the swatches done on my hand. With a primer the darkest color in the crease works ok, it adds a little bit of darkness there to give your eye some depth, but you really gotta work with it. Overall, I would recommend it just for the lightest color because it's just to die for. Also if your willing to work with this you will get a pretty eye look, but you will of course need a primer or it just will not work.

Another Great Cover Girl Powder

Cover Girl really makes some good face powders, granted don't like them all, but I find a lot of them work great for my skin. I have repurchased this many times and will continue to do so, hopefully it doesn't get discontinued. I started off just using this as a regular face powder, which I still like it for. But since I have only had a little bit around the edge of the pan, which I can't pick up with a face brush, I have been taking my ELF defining brush and picking up the product around the edge and using it to set my concealer, mostly my under eye concealer. This really sets my concealer and makes it stay for about 8 hours and makes my skin so soft and smooth in the areas I apply it. Plus it does brighten up the eye area and lighten it up since it does have some coverage. No matter how much I would put of this powder on my face it would not cake up on my, which is totally amazing. Also this doesn't cling to the dry spots on my face. Not really any complaints about the packaging. Overall, one of my favorite face powders and I say try it out!

Average

I say this is average because I do use it when I run out of my other powders, but normally i would not reach for this product and wouldn't purchase it again. First off the smell just really makes me sick, it's so strong and just strange smelling. It sets the make-up fine and makes your foundation stay in place for about 4 maybe 5 hours. But it gets cakey very easily and if you have dry skin like me, it will cling to every dry spot on your face and make it look worse. If you have oily skin, this powder may work great for you, but still be aware that it cakes easily. I would not say this is translucent like it claims, I would say it would only work for light skin. Another thing, I noticed that the product balls up in the package, and no I don't store this in my bathroom. The packaging is not good at all, the plastic on this is very cheap and breaks easily so be careful not to drop this. Overall, there are better drugstore powders out there and some are even cheaper than this powder.

Great Deal

This brush is such a great value, at only $1 a piece i would consider getting a few because this brush can be used a few different ways. My favorite way to use this brush it for setting my under eye concealer with powder, it's perfect for this because it fits in the under eye area perfect and it doesn't pick up too much product. Another use is highlighting, I use this for highlighting the inner corner of eye, brow bone, the nose and cupid's bow. Lastly, I use this for applying a darker color to the outer V and defining the crease, it fit perfectly into the crease. I really enjoy this brush and it helps my make-up just look amazing. I would recommend this to just about anyone. but mostly people on a budget or beginners trying to build a brush collection. I do find that this brush could be a little more dense but that's the only downfall.

Obsessed!

I don't know what I would do without this concealer, everything I try just can't even come close to how much I love this. Now I have 2 of these, light and the corrector. If you are planning on getting one of these for dark circles then you need the corrector, it has that orange undertone that will cancel out the them ugly dark circles and let me tell you this corrector really covers up some major discoloration. Now the light one I don't like for my under eyes, it's just too light and the blue tones of the dark circles ultimately show through. But as Nancy below me said, it does work good at as a regular face concealer. This is because it has such great staying power, especially when set by powder. I have found that these do not sink into fine lines, but I always set my under eyes with a powder straight after applying concealer. Also I do have pretty dry skin and these do not cling to dry flakes on your face and these have never got cakey on me either. Overall I say this is totally worth a try and worth the price considering how much product you get.

Very Affordable

I own two of these, white and sky blue. I find that I don't reach for the blue much, but that's just because I'm not much of a blue person. The white one on the other hand I use everyday that I wear make-up. I use it daily as an eye primer and I actually like using this a lot more than a normal eye primer. It amps up the color that you choose to wear and my eye shadow never creases when I use this, plus it stays looking the same as when I applied it until I take it off. It doesn't glide on as smooth as the sky blue one but I think that's why it makes such a great primer, because it has a little bit of stickiness to it but not so much that you can't blend your shadow. I also like this for the inner corner, it brightens it right up. Also another great way to use this is putting this on your waterline and then putting a colored eye shadow over it to make your own liner. I just love that they are only 99 cents and you get so much product, Wet N Wild is just amazing.

Favorite Brush I Own

I just got this brush a few weeks ago and I am totally in love and addicted to it. I was in love with the complexion brush from the same company, but as soon as I got this I just stopped using it because I now use this. This brush is so good at applying your foundation, it makes the foundation blend in so well and it has cut down the time it takes me to do my face make-up. The brush of course is good for applying face powders and blending them in and making your make-up looks natural. The bristles on this brush are so amazingly soft, I have had no shedding from this brush and it only costs $3. I plan on buying many back-ups of this brush.

Really Like It

I loveeee this! First off, it is soo silky and feels so amazing on the skin. Really makes your face smooth, which is a good thing so that your foundation can go on and blend good. The price is great compared to other face primers i have seen. It does make my pores smaller, but with fine lines, i see no difference. I have a very oily T-zone, and this in no way makes it any more oily and it has a matte finish, loveee it! Only thing is, i wish it came with more product, its such a small little container. But i would have to recommend this to everyone. Why spend so much on a "highend" primer when this one works just as good, just for the brand name? come on ladies, save some money :)

Great Face Powder

I really think this powder is great, my boyfriend bought it for me when I was out and I must say all the make-up he picks out for me I end up loving ha. I actually really like the packaging, it doesn't pop open easy and powder won't spill out the sides like others I have had. The puff it comes with is fine, but I like to use a softer, less stiff one. The powder provides good coverage and evens out my skin tone. Also this powder makes my skin feel so soft to the touch and doesn't get cakey on me. I like the scent too, its refreshing. I would repurchase this and recommend it to anyone since they have one for sensitive skin too.
