A moisturizing sheer fuchsia

I love Korres Cherry Oil Glosses! I'm the girl that hates wearing lip glosses because my hair always sticks to them, they dry my lips out, or they leave the dreaded awkward white ring around my lips. Korres gloss is the one gloss I've found so far that is not too sticky, actually MOISTURIZES my lips, and doesn't leave an awkward film as it fades away. I'm actually quite impressed by the lasting power as well, considering it's not tacky. Some shades are more shimmery than others but you have to pick and choose to find colors that work for you. The product is kind of expensive at $17, but a good staple to have in your collection. Plus, the ingredients are high quality and carefully chosen.

Fuchsia 54 is a bright and shimmering fuchsia in the tube. When applied, it sheers out into a really beautiful muted raspberry. No matter how hard I try, I just cannot get brighter lips to work on me. That said, this shade would look great on pale and cool toned coloring, medium warm coloring, and darker cool toned coloring. As always, very moisturizing, and you can even smell the Cherrys in this cherry oil based gloss :)

Great product, not the color for me

Nude 33 is a light-medium color nude tan/brown with heavy shimmer. On my fair coloring (brown hair + eyes), it makes me look a little too monochromatic and just doesn't "feel" right on my coloring. However, I think this would look absolutely stellar on darker skintones! The quality is consistent with the entire Korres line, and is definitely worth at least swatching it on your hand at Sephora.

Great color, a little too much shimmer for me

Beige Pink 32 is a basic pinky-beige shade with a lot of shimmer. It doesn't do too much for my fair skin and the shimmer is definitely an overload for me, but I feel like this would look great on girls that love shimmery lips and want an every day gloss. Beige Pink could match literally with any other makeup look, but works especially well with a complementary pinky-beige blush OR a bright coral blush (as a focal point to the pinky beige gloss).

Excellent texture, pigment, and formulation

Light Pink 11 is a really simple but gorgeous color. I'd describe it as a very very pale, sheer, and milky peachy pink with no shimmer at all. It leaves a simple milky and glossy sheen over my lips when I'm wearing more dramatic eyes. This looks particular look when matched with a bronze eyeshadow or eye liner (because the gloss is cooler toned than the bronze, it makes for an interesting contrast)

Not the most perfect shades for my coloring, but quality-wise, fantastic.

I love this Korres lip gloss set from Sephora! Not sure if it's available anymore, but it was a great deal for all three glosses considering their cost alone. The quality of the glosses is excellent.

The Nude Cherry Oil Gloss is a beautiful pinky-beige with shimmer. I personally think it has too much shimmer in it, which isn't flattering on my lips or coloring. But the color itself is pretty. (more details on my individual review)

The Natural Purple Cherry Oil Gloss is a nice sheer mauve brown that would be a great neutral for deeper skintones. (more details on my individual review)

The Fuchsia Cherry Oil Gloss was a bright shimmering fuchsia that could be toned down to a sheer but bright wash. It was a little too bright for me :/

I believe this kit would work much better on dark skintones, my fair coloring just didn't do it justice.

Rosey and Delightful

I love Korres Lip Butters! They are SO moisturizing without feeling incredibly greasy or tacky. They sit comfortably on the lips. The lasting power is, of course, not great. But that is to be expected out of a sheer lip treatment. That said, it does last reasonably long if I don't eat anything or talk very much (which rarely happens :p) The only caveat I have with this product is that it's a POT. For both sanitary and lazy reasons, I just hate the process of unscrewing the pot, dipping my finger and swirling around, wiping my finger after, and screwing the pot back on. Call me lazy, but I expect my makeup products to work for ME, not me to work for them. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the product. It's a great little item to throw in your bag. And for a high quality product like Korres, $10 isn't too awful of a price to pay for a perfectly puckered pout :)

Wild Rose is a beautiful sheer raspberry/plum/rose stain. It stains them subtly and just gives a pop of color on my other pale lips. It's a great stain of color in the morning if you're feeling rather drab and pale (which happens to me a lot, especially in the “colder” months of California :D) I love pairing this particular color with iridescent purple taupes (try the left darker side of NARS Habanera), MAC Moth Brown, or MAC Shale. I don't think it would look amazing with warmer tones, so stick with neutral-cool.

Lovely sheer coral

Pomegranate is a beautiful sheer peachy pink coral. It's one of those universally brightening colors, and is perfect for a summer day at the beach. The texture is just as creamy as the other shades. I love wearing this with glowing skin. I apply bronzer where the sun would naturally hit, and use a warm luminizer on tops of cheek bones, on the bridge of the nose, and dabbed on top of the lips (try MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Glissade). On eyes, I do a bronzey peach look with colors like MAC Mulch and MAC All that Glitters, or use a bright turquoise eyeliner for a bright contrast (try Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in Electric)

Love the color and texture, only one con.

Jasmine is a gorgeous slightly greyed pinkey nude mauve shade. Sounds kind of odd, but it gives a nice milky and creamy sheen to the lips that goes really well with cooler toned makeup.

Oil slick looks slick

This is a cool eye shadow. It's a black base with iridescent glitter. For some reason, I don't get glitter fallout on my face when I wear this compared to when I where Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy. Perhaps it's in the formulation. Anyway.

LOVE this shade. It's completely unique from anything I've seen (in a pressed pan formula anyway). And who doesn't love a glittery black anyway? I definitely recommend this for evening, though. Use it as a liner, for crease work, smudged on the lashlines, even smudged and blended up from the lid for a smokey eye. To get optimum glitter effects, I recommend first treating Oil Slick as you would any other shadow: blend it with a brush. After you get your desired pigmentation, dampen your ring finger and dip it into the pan to get a full coating of oil slick on your finger tip. Then, pat the Oil Slick on your lids...the glitter should now show up really well.

*********************** Urban Decay makes some of the best quality shadows on the market. They are creamy, smooth, pigmented, and have adorable “grungified” packaging! They are the same size as MAC eye shadows so they can be depotted into convenient 4-pan and 15-pan palettes. For $17, you pay for .05 oz of product which really isn't that much. It's at a pretty high cost per shadow, so you have to pick and choose the gem's of Urban Decay's eye shadow collection

Dramatic purple toned shade

Last Call is a beautiful plummy/maroon/pink with hints of gold. Sounds very...interesting but it's actually quite flattering when applied right. A lot of people compare it to MAC Star Violet eye shadow, but I'd say it's a little less golden toned than Star Violet. I love wearing it on the lid with a beigey gold as a wash, and violet eyeliner (try Bobbi Brown Violet Gel Liner). If you want to be dramatic, pair it with a iridescent blue (Last Call on the lids, the blue in the outer corners blended up)
