I realized that when I wear a primer and then out my foundation on it slides right off but if I don't use a primer my foundation stays all day... Does this happen to anyone else.?

No, when I don't wear a primer I get really oily and my makeup slides right off.

Your foundation & primer might just not work together :/

Not all primers work for all foundations. For example , my Smashbox Primer worked wonderfully with my Urban Decay Foundation, but when I used it under my Dior BB Creme my face was shiny in hours. I switched to using the Hourglass Primer and now I don't have that problem and my makeup stays all day. Which foundation do you use?

It's the opposite for me. If I DON't wear a primer, my makeup won't last. But consider yourself lucky if you don't need one! Primers are expensive and if your makeup looks good without one, then don't worry about it.

It's probably because they don't have the same base. make sure both your foundation and primer are water based, silicone base, etc. if they have different bases your foundation will either slide off or look patchy
