Is it true that we can make bronzer at home.. I just found this so thought of asking
What you will need:
- One tbs cinnamon powder (for glow)
- One tsp cocoa powder (for depth and darkness)
- One tsp nutmeg (for sunkissed brown, it it gives off a lovely fragrance and is excellent at keeping pimples at bay)
- Two tsp cornstarch (makes it long-lasting, helps in even application and lightens the look)
- 15 drops of any essential oil (helps in binding the ingredients and hence strictly optional)
Get started:
- Mix all the ingredients except the essential oil in a small bowl.
- Add the essential oil gradually while stirring with a wooden spatula to break all lumps.
- Store in a clean, empty compact jar with a tight lid.
Do think it ll really work.. I'm just surprised to see this so asking you girls.. :-)

I'm not allergic to cinnamon but I read someone on this board broke out into a hive-like rash after applying a cinnamon & I think honey mask. She posted a pic of her face & it was really bad.

Be very careful using cinnamon, nutmeg, and essential oils on your skin. Cinnamon is an irritant that can cause horrible reactions, nutmeg can enflame allergies, and some essential oils can cause chemical burns (citrus oils in particular).
I would mix unsweetened cocoa powder, corn starch or baking powder. I don't think it would be very pigmented, and as a loose powder would be messy to apply.
