It's just like a super light coverage right? How clear does your face have to be for it to be for you? I'm tired of piling on foundation and my face is starting to clear up so I thought about looking into a BB cream. But I don't know where to start.

Bb creams are really light coverage like a tinted moistutizer but a little bit more coverage.

Also, overtime they will help even out your skin tone, so if you have acn? scars or anything like that it would be perfect for you.

Some BB creams often provide a light/medium coverage. Yes they're better for your skin than foundations but the CONS of using BB to me are:
-Not enough shades
-They come up in neutral, cool undertones ( which make me look greyish & dead lol)
-they make my face oilyyyy (if you have dry skin, then you're good)
-They don't last even 6 hours on my skin.
Of course, not all BB creams are the same. But the outcomes of most of the BB creams I've tried are like that 👎😒😊

BB creams, or at least American ones, are more like tinted moisturizers with some SPF. they have light/medium coverage & give a pretty natural finish.
I personally haven't bothered with BB cream.. I like my foundation & I don't like light coverage products.

Asian BB creams can have anywhere from light to full coverage. They take the place of several products: primer, moisturizer, foundation, and powder. Some offer additional features: dark spot lightening, oil control, sun protection, highlighter (dewy look), waterproof, anti-aging, blemish fighting, etc.
In my experience, western BB creams are just tinted moisturizer masquerading as BB creams. They are watery, thin, and offer little to no coverage. I don't have experience with the high-end western BB offerings, but they are so expensive I prefer to use a cheaper authentic BB cream from Asia.
Asian BB creams tend to come in either neutral or yellow undertones (rarely pink). The shades a limited because the product will adjust when applied.
I really like Etude House (a S. Korean brand) products because they have a ton of formulas for many skin types and needs. I recommend looking at reviews to compare products and judge what might best suit your needs.
I purchase mine from www.w2beauty.com and I have had great results. The products arrived securely packaged, and they included some samples with my order. I chose the cheapest shipping (Korea Post) and it arrived in California in about two weeks, for reference.

A BB cream to the same thing as a tinted moisturiser (in my eyes) I'd recommend either a CC cream or just buy a sheer foundation. I like Max Factor CC Cream or Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation (Bourjois owns Chanel and I've heard it is virtually the same as Vitalumiere Aqua by Chanel but with a massive price different) plus it has good stuff in it to 'help' skin :)
