Why are you not suppose to pop them?
If you aren't suppose to pop them, what are you suppose to do?

Well you can pop them but your not supposed to because you can cause scarring. You can use spot treatments instead.

There is already a long post about this under the heading: THE BIG DEBATE, TO POP OR NOT TO POP.

1. If you pop them , the bacteria that you get out get on you hands and then you don't notice and you touch your face and so another people can grow
2. It'll make redness on your skin
3. If you get out all the blood that is in it you'll get a scar
4. It can cause wholes on your skin
Let them go by itself

Don't use undilute tea tree oil and you will seriously irritate your skin, I recommend a drugstore one thats already diluted

And use the ice cube in a paper towel or you can damage capillaries and blood vessels.

Your NOT suppose to. But I don't think that popping them will cause scarring. A lot of people I know who pops there (including me sometime) it becomes scabs afterwards, and they pick them till they are scars. I would still pop them but not pick the scab afterwards, IF yours does scab. In other cases I 'pop' black/white heads all the time and they never leave scars.

You just have to know what type of pressure to apply. they will not scar if your applying the correct pressure. that's why when you get a facial, they usually will get them out because they know when you try and get them and when not too :)

1. It can cause scaring. But most importantly it'll create more pimples because of the bacteria.

I once had a facial about 15yrs ago. The woman squeezed out whiteheads but she did not pop any pimples. I think I had some small red pimples at the time but they didn't have a "head" on them. That was a really rough facial & I was really red, raw, sore & slightly swollen when I left. I never had a facial ever again. I'm so glad there are products nowadays to keep clear skin.
