Suffering from pigmented lips, most of the lip colours doesn't look right on me. Any remedies to reduce pigmentation? I don't smoke, I think it's because of excessive tanning (it's too hot and sunny here).
Also have pigmented knees I find it really hard hiding behind maxi skirts and pants. My friend's wedding is coming up next month so I'm one of her bridesmaids and we are wearing a short coral coloured dress and I'm just embarrassed of my knees.
So ladies help me out!

Exfoliation. This removes dead cell layers. You can exfoliate your lips with sugar and a bit of coconut oil or honey. Brown sugar or finely refined sugar works. I'd invest in either a quality body scrub that hydrates, like H20 or 100 % Pure Organic scub (Ulta) or making your own. You can also apply Natural Greek Yogurt.. as lactic acid brightens skin naturally. You may want to use a body spray to even out your color... one that is intended for legs/body...testing before the day..no last minute practice..lol. NYX has a hydrating nude lip primer. That should give you a neutral base for lip color. Some people apply their foundation over the lips as an alternative. A Nubby, wet, cotton washcloth is great for exfoliating lips. Spa gloves make exfoliation a breeze for the body. Any drugstore should have them. Good luck!

Things like hyperpigmentation are pretty much impossible to get rid of naturally without getting some sort of chemical peel. Honestly I'm not sure if pigmentation is the same. Lemon isn't really safe to be putting on your body. It's a natural bleacher which can leave you waaaay more sensitive to the sun. I asked Traci L what could help my hyperpigmentation and she recommended this for my arms:
Peter Thomas Roth glycolic cleanser then put on First aid beauty ultra repair cream
This might be something to look into or try asking her, she's a skincare expert and should have some suggestions for you.

I agree with Roz exfoliation gets rid of the darkness if that's what it is - I use a sugar scrub personally as well and it has reduced the darkness under my armpits and on my elbows and ankles - works great but make sure you do it at least once a week if not more depending on how bad the discoloration is.

Try using a lip balm with SPF in it too. This will help prevent your lips from getting agitated by the sun.

I just buy the tree hut scrubs I think they have at walmart but I buy mine at drugstore.com and while in the shower (usually before I shave) I just rub it all over my body and it's like giving myself a spa treatment they smell amazing and make my skin feel baby smooth afterwards

Ulta has the Treehut ones on sale right now, I believe.
I make my own. Gotta love the interwebz.
Hyperpigmentation does respond beautifully to peels! I'm a huge peel fan, but for my knees...I'd start with a simple solution before I went that route. Hopefully it can be lightened or evened out a bit with proper, routine exfoliation. If you see no difference, then I agree with Shauna that you may want to consider a peel. I'd do some research regarding peels on the body before attempting one or perhaps visiting a licensed Esty for treatment. I'd still start with the basics though. Alpha Hydroxy is also great for shedding cells, but again, proceed carefully and read up on it. I'm not sure how it would work with knees and I wouldn't put it on my lips for certain. Best of luck to you.
