Hey dolls! So my grade 11 semi formal is next Friday (the 4th) and I just got my dress literally 2 days ago (I always leave everything last minute-ish)! As you can see the dress is fitted and black, and it has rhinestones on the chest part (totally me!) I love doing my makeup and finding accessories to match and look for heels blah blah blah (I'm such a girl I know) but since there are so many people here I wanted to get peoples opinions on how I should wear my hair, do my makeup, what accessories to wear and anything else you can think of that would glam me up! I love sparkles and glitter and everything like that but keep in mind that I'm only 16 so keep it age appropriate! Oh and btw the theme is masquerade! Please help me cause I wanna look the best! 👠🎀💄💎

As for makeup I would do a slightly thicker cat eye with a bold (maybe red) lip. Simple and classic but not over done. I feel that if you did something super dramatic it would be too much.

I honestly hate up dos but I looveed this one, I did something similar on my sister but instead of the waterfall thingy going into the back I let it fall down and kept grabbing hair from the bottom butttt unfortunately I didn't take a pic.

This is another I did for my sister too, couldn't crop out just the hair one 😔 but also notice how I worked with colors that weren't really similar to the dress, I think that if you do colors that match the dress it won't stand out and I mean your face is what's supposed to stand out:) so I think you should go for a simple bright white kind of colors but use a bold red or pink lipstick.

If you don't want to wear pumps. wear a cute pair of simple black flats. Last year before prom a bought a pair of flats that actually rolled up and were small enough to shove in a clutch. I was so thankfull for them later. Or buy a pair of gel insoles to slip into your heels so your feet don't hurt.

*your I would wear black sandal heels in a rich velvet..something no higher than 3 inches so you can be comfortable. A black pump with a little sparkle or even matte would be lovely. Have fun. :)
