I use brushes but I want a more pigmented finish, I don't have an eyeshadow primer though, what else could I use?

Fill in your eyelids with white eyeliner before applying eye shadow!

Try to foil it and make your brush a little bit wet, not too wet though!

Exactly what Teresa said.
wet your makeup brush a tiny bit, then get the shadow on the brush & apply.
I would definitely invest in a primer tho.. & I wouldn't use a concealer as a primer unless it's a creaseless concealer. it makes a world of difference! lol. UD Primer Potions are really awesome (:

Thanks girls I'll look into getting one then, I've only just started using eyeshadows on a more regular basis so I figured I might as well buy the best product I can to make it look it's best haha.

If you're interested in getting a primer , try the e.l.f. one. It's great , & it's only a dollar! :)

Oh, and I always use a regular eyeshadow brush to apply eyeshadow, and my fingers to blend.

I don't have a primer either so I use maybellines color tattoo as a base and it looks good In my opinion:p.

Remember that quality makes all the difference, I would suggest getting better quality shadows an investing in a primer it makes all the difference and its easier to work with you won't have any problems, meanwhile you can wet the pigment after its on the brush and pat it on a concealer can work as a base but it will crease a lot and not look so good after.

Agreed with lili, good quality makes all the difference. also try nyx shadow base in white. it helps to make the shadow more true to color.

I'm no expert and I have only decent brushes but when I want more pigment I dip my brush in the eye shadow, spray with water, tap the brush once then light tap the product on the area I want it instead of Swyping it on. If that makes sense.
