Hair Dye Question Please Answer.

Can I put an equal amount of hair dye in conditioner and use it when I feel like my hair is fading? I have red hair by the way will the haur dye and conditioner put color back into my hair to make it stay vibrant instead of redying every two weeks?

You don't need to mix the manic panic.

Manic panic can be mixed with conditioner, you don't need any developer or anything so it's not mixing chemicals. Go ahead and mix in conditioner. I do it all the time

Yes you can! It will just add a red gloss on top (doesn't actually penetrate the hair shaft since your hair is wet, there's no developer involved and you're using conditioner--that coats the hair shaft) it's a good idea! I'm doing that with my purple hair

Symone have you done the purple yet? :) and adding it to your conditioner does help, it keeps it bright. Manic panic does not need developer at all to penetrate the hair.

Ok thank you both so much :)) I am stocking up on hair dye and getting a seprate conditioner bottle right now my red hair is an orange red mess because it faded and I can't buy my hair dye yet lol.

I love how long your hair is I'm growing mine out its just hits my lower back but I want mine long like yours ny hair grows fast in general so does my nails so I'm hoping by next years summer (2015) it will be that long :)

And yeah, Brianna I've been there lol. I had to go 6 months without red dye because my local supplier didn't carry my color and I couldn't order online, so it went from bright red to like a natural orange lol.

Yes alyx thats how my hair is now but my roots are still red and kind of turning into a strawberry blonde lol and harlyn can I buy that at sallys?

Hey make sure the red color you choose us a direct dye. what that means is that the color in the tube is red before hand n not turns red when you mix it with peroxide. Mix this red color with your shampoo or conditioner

Make a mixture of Manic Panic and conditioner - the measurements are totally up to you, more conditioner will dilute the colour. You can use that every time you bathe/shower to keep the colour up (I think thats what your asking right?) Its a sneaky way of keeping unnatrual hair colours vibrant!! PS. Yeah you deffo can't do this with permanant hair dyes ONLY semi? perm ones such as Manic Panic :)
