Find Traci, she's a professional. If she sees this she'll probably comment on it though.

Shannie, what's your skincare routine? We can all help, but your best choice would be to see a dermatologist.

And when did your problem start? After a certain skincare routine? Age? Has it ever got better?

A head to toe problem with itchy red bumps sounds an awful lot like an allergic reaction. Have you seen a general practice physician? You might be allergic to an ingredient in your products, and throwing more money at it will not solve the issue. I would get an allergy test (this is usually covered by your insurance if your doctor orders it).

A regular doctor can also examine the problem areas and make a tentative diagnosis if they believe it is eczema. That way they can refer you to a dermatologist through your insurance and then you won't have to pay out of pocket.

Good luck dear! I hope it gets better soon.

I understand, I never really started taking care of my skin until about a year ago. In my opinion, I think your skin may just be sensitive to the products you're using, you could be allergic to something, and your skin is becoming irritated, the dryness could be from the constant irritation your skins acid mantle is going through. You said your body is itchy and has some marks, I'm not sure if it's eczema or hives, but I've had experience with hives, my body was itchy for a whole month and a didn't know what it was. I've also had experience with the redness, bumps and dryness that your describing, I was actually allergic to the shampoo I was using to clean my brushes. My advice would be to narrow your skin routine down to 2 products, a gentle cleanser, and a very good moisturizer. For exfoliation, you could just use a face cloth, I'm not a fan of scrubs anyway, I find them to be damaging to the skin. I also really recommend CeraVe products. There's no fragrance, and these products contain very beneficial ingredients that help rebuild and protect the skins acid mantle. You said you use coconut oil sometimes, I suggest using jojoba oil instead. Coconut oil can be highly comedogenic. Try to keep your routine as simple as possible for at least 2 weeks to see if your skin gets better. Also look into some of the ingredients in your makeup, they could also be the problem.

I had the exact same thing as you mine turned out to be hormonal Imbalances, what you can start with is going to the doctor getting a blood test to see if it has anything to do with your hormones and go from their!!

Try the cetaphil cleanser, it's relatively affordable, super gentle and cleansing and you can usually pick it up in most pharmacies x

I've always had horrible problems with my skin that no doctor has ever been able to figure out lol. here are some of my opinions.

1. hormone imbalance, some people need more estrogen in the body which can be found in birth control and has helped people with acne or pimples. generally bumps around the mouth are hormonal.

2. eczema or pityriosis rosacea. the picture kind of looks like it could be eczema or pityriosis rosacea. I've had both. eczema is more scaly, itchy, and always dry feeling. coconut oil has worked well for me. pityriosis rosacea are like these tiny itchy bumps, sometimes they aren't always itchy, try googling it for more information. I found icing the area helped reduce the redness and it eventually went away after a few weeks.

3. dermatitis. my worst enemy lol. I've had so many random rashes, random bumps, itchy redness and I've used countless creams and nothing ever worked. over 7 years I've been to the doctor and dermatologist and they still couldn't figure out what to give me. what worked has been icing the area, applying generous amounts of coconut oil multiple times a day and then I discovered betaderm cream. you need to get a prescription from your doctor. It's the only thing that has really helped me. however we are not professionals and everyone's skin is different and if it's bothering you this much I highly recommend you get the money to see a dermatologist. I find normal doctors know nothing about skin lol. it could also be caused by other things such as diet, exercise, stress, etc. a professional will be able to help you better than anyone on beautylish. it needs to be seen in person to get a clear look at the skin issue.

You are using bodyshoppe and Clinique products which both always contain fragrance and dyes which are known irritants. Some people can even be allergic. I have extremely sensitive skin as well I swear by Origins products there are products at the origins stores and online by dr Weil made with all natural ingredients to soothe irritation. I use them daily and its the only thing I've ever found that has not aggravated my skin in fact my skin is clearer and calmer every day. I used to use Clinique and body shop products both cleared my acne during the first week but then my skin broke out in irritation and inflammation
