I hope you can tell ,but I contoured the hollows of my cheeks. Was wondering if I did too much or does it need to be blended more or did I pull it too far towards my mouth? Please help.

I'd say that yes, it does need to be blended more, it's quite obvious where you've placed the product. It might be a little bit too close to your mouth, as well, but blend first and then see if it's too close later.

I agree with Hannah. I think you might have pulled it in too close to your mouth, maybe if you only drag the product to about the line where the center of your eye/the line down from where your arch is (I don't know if I'm making sense haha) and I would soften up and blend more because it looks a little too harsh :) but aside from that your makeup and hair is perf.

Sweety try to contour higher and start with a little amount of product then blend and build it up.

I think that it needs to be blended better, as you can really see that you are wearing product. You want to make sure that you can notice the difference in your face but not see the product. Post another picture once you blend it out more! I'd love to see what you look like with the contouring blended more! :)

I agree with the others. I'd blend a little more.

What product are you using to contour? I think maybe something a bit more cool toned might make it look more natural.

Thank you ladies ,I will definitely blend it more and not apply it so much towards my mouth. I'm using a bronzer by ulta the name has rubbed off so I can't tell you the name. Should I use a lighter bronzer??

I'm no makeup artist, but yes it does look a bit unblended and as if it was pulled too far down. Also, it looks a bit orange!

Bronzer's not actually the best product to be contouring with. Check out Jordan Liberty on Youtube, he's done a comparison of contouring with bronzer and a "true contour shade"

Ideally you should be looking for a cool toned colour. If you look at natural shadows they are cool toned, that's the shade you're trying to imitate.

Well I think the color is preference. Using such a deep color shows where you contoured and I think itll look really nice but with a lighter hand :) if anything you could try using a highlighter atop the bronzer.

Ultimately yes it is preference but the technique was originally to enhance bone structure and not to be seen. Really you don't want to "show where you've contoured" you want to mimic shadow to fake naturally high cheekbones.

Agree with the girls. & yes, bronzer is not meant to contour. the correct way is to use something cool toned to imitate a shadow.

Too low, makes the apples of your cheeks stand out, just move it up a bit and it should make your cheek bones stand out.

Wow you are gorgeous!! Just don't drag it as close to your mouth... Or if you like it that close to the mouth use a lighter shade :)
