I like #1, but if your looking for a single pallete that has both try either the lorac pro or the lorac pro 2!

Okay, I have both and love both. They definitely have their pros and cons, so I'll go through them:
Chrysalis:
-Pros: gorgeous shades. Good mix of neutrals and colors. Easy to work with.
-Cons: mostly shimmery (some people don't like shimmer, for me this wouldn't be a con). Not as smooth as the Monarch.
Monarch:
-Pros: gorgeous shades, Wrath is an all time fave for me. Super smooth. Each and every shade can work with every other shade. So blendable and gorgeous.
-Cons: shimmery, again. No real bright colors, even Wrath is a fairly neutral shade.
That all said, I reach for my Monarch far more than the Chrysalis. I like orangey shades on myself, personally. I have a week's worth of looks with it on my profile.

For me,
I'd personally go with the monarch palette! I normally don't splurge and when I do I go with something I use and I feel those natural colors are beautiful and something I would get use out of. However, if you use a lot of colors in your makeup that first palette might work better. You really can't go wrong with either palette though! Kat Von D makes one amazing shadows and their palettes are always worth the money! It really just comes down to what you use on a daily basis so what is going to make most financial sense to invest in!

I'd say 2 because its very versitile with all the browns but 3 has some brown and color for when you wanna mix it up so I'd go with 3 because its a mixture

I also on both and I absolutely love them! They are some of my favorite palettes of all time! It comes down to preference, if you want some purples and blues as well as neutrals, Chrysalis. If you want all neutrals that are sort of different from the typical "naked", then Monarch! Honestly you can't go wrong with either :)
