I don't do anything I usually treat myself to masks while I'm sick to feel decent.

That neon green is stunning. this is beautiful.
I don't see how people can bash on ELF and lower end products, I mean this is proof they're not difficult to work with and can be used to create just as good, If not better, looks as the "highend" spectrum of the cosmetic lines. Beautifully done!
Congrats on fighting the illness, month is a long time!

Thanks ladies! I started with a viral respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia, with complications from my asthma. I was hospitalized for a couple of days at the worst, and I still have a cough that is going to last for a few more weeks. :( I was looking pretty dead for a while! You can see how pasty I am normally; I was pretty much glow-in-the-dark white, even paler than my profile makeup-- yuck.
@Leona: I like doing masks too, especially since my skin tends to get a little crazy when I am sick. What's your favorite?
@ Renay: Right?? I love using e.l.f. products and I've never had an issue with creasing or fading. I've worn looks like this for three days straight, even through working in a busy coffee shop/retail store and taking showers and sleeping, with only minor touchups. (Yes, I'm that lazy.) I've had people not believe me when I tell them it is dollar store makeup.

Lush Oatifix is my favorite it feels so good on my skin and it smells so fresh I have my mom get me some all the time before she comes home on some days :D.

Thank you Sandra! Nope, no UD here. In fact, all of the things I used for this entire look cost less put together than that single palette. :) I'm a total Frugal Fanny (or extreme cheapskate, depending on how you look at it).

Oh my god!! This is Sensation!! I really enjoy dramatic looks like this!! Thank you so much for sharing! When I get the 252 ultimate palette (just bought online, so it may take a while) could I pretty please try and recreate this??
Aug 8, 2014
Leona S.
It was only round $7 or $8 :) I don't ever usually buy it but occasionally I do.

Oh dang that comment wasn't for me LMFAO NEVER MIND

@ Lorna Thanks! Of course you can recreate this, go nuts! I didn't do anything special and I definitely don't own this look. I was just playing with colors. :)
Leona: I've always wanted to try LUSH products but I physically cannot go into the stores. Something about the font they use and the overwhelming amount of signage causes me to have seizures. I am hesistant to order online because I am particular about smells (being asthmatic, I have to be careful what kind of fragranced products I use) so I guess I am doomed to never indulging my curiousity. Maybe if I go in blindfolded...

Really? Awe I'm sorry my dear that's horrible you should email them and tell them maybe they'll take that into consideration.

That eyeshadow is from e.l.f.?? omg I'm in love with e.l.f products and I so need to find those colors.!! lovee how you did this look its so clean & beautiful.! :)

@Leona Eh it's okay, I'm pretty sure I am the only weirdo on the planet with that issue and they shouldn't change anything to accommodate my dumb brain misfiring.
@Jackie J. Thank you! I think they still have the 144 palette on their website, and Target usually has it in store around the holidays. I haven't seen the bright colors in their singles or the quads. One of the "beauty book" palettes is brights, but it is much more limited (great for travel though, very compact). :)

That is stunning! And I can totally relate with your getting over illness release phenomenon. I had the little toe on my left foot fractured, 3 weeks ago. With the band aid and splinter, it was so hard to do anything. Yesterday they removed it and today, first thing in the morning, I went to get a full body wax, facial and hair fix.

Ugh broken toes are the worst! I broke all of my toes at the sane time during my sophomore year of high school in a freak accident. I've broken them all more than once on different occasions through the years. #clumsyproblems The worst part is there's nothing you can really do about it besides wear the stupid shoe thing that barely even helps. I feel your pain!
I don't think I could do a full body wax. I've got a pretty high pain tolerance (and a pretty high suck-it-up-and-deal tolerance ;) ) but that would be a bit much even for me. You're definitely a trooper!

Thank you so so much Emily! I just screen shot the picture. I can't believe you had pneumonia!! That is one of the worst infections ever!! I had it when I was pretty young (8) and I remember being really sick, and staying home for a month. I was never hospitalised, I can't imagine how serve your case must of been. It would of been like life or death! I do hope you are feeling better!
Sending all my love and support from Australia!
