Hi ladies :) I was lucky enough to go to mayhem festival in Oklahoma City which was an all day outdoor metal fest basically and I got sunburnt terribly. it hurts and is starting to peel, feels dry. On my shoulders and arms and a bit on my face. are there any suggestions of moisturizers or lotions that I can put it to make it not so dry? what about on my face too? please and thank you.

Aloe Vera for your arms. I'm not sure if you can put it on your face.

Aloe Vera also works on your face, but I would put it on when you are not going anywhere. Also if your arms really hurt from it try a aloe Vera that has Lidocaine, it helps numb the burn.

I got a sunburn like that from my sports day. a good after sun does the trick, as said ^^ aloe verra for you arms is good. I used the soltan after sun from boots, ngl at first I was applying it every couple of minutes but it does help. Make sure you drink lots of water and stay cool. hope it gets better soon c.

Aloe Vera, ice packs, and noxema!! :) I've been burnt many times in my life and this instantly heals me.

If you have some black tea at home, brew a big pot and let it cool, then apply it to the burn as a compress. The tannins in the tea will sooth the skin, while the caffeine will help reduce the inflammation.

Don't use Noxema-it is too harsh.
