I was wondering because this woman on youtube has a 3 hour long makeup collection tour smh which she said she wasnt a makeup artist which is terrible to have all that makeup thats going to go bad before she even uses it lol
I have a decent size collection although I gave away a lot of my makeup so I can get better quality.

I think it's perspective. Is my collection waaaay bigger than all of my friends/family's collections? YES. But there's definitely a million girls out there that surpass mine. Currently on a no-buy though! Especially palettes. 😂 but I'm still buying the necessities!

I wouldn't say I have a large collection, maybe a 10 minute collection video in terms of the amount? I have enough to get myself looking nice, and then I have some extra for when I want some diversity. I also have a lot of stage makeup, since I'm in theatre. 😊

Also, I don't really go out and buy makeup unless it's a staple product like mascara and whatnot. Otherwise, my birthday and Christmas are when I get the most makeup splurges.

I wouldn't say my collection is huge but it's definitely growing :p lol. Youtubers often times get sent a bunch of products by companies so that could add to her huge collection. More than likely being a YouTuber is her job so he has to keep up with new products :) I wish I had the amount of products to take up that much time lol.

I don't think I have a big collection, But like Amanda said, my collection is bigger than anyone else in my family and friends. to some it is a lot but I mean I've been collecting for 2 years I have a little bit of everything and I use it all, obviously not all at once cuz that would be scary as hell and whatever I don't use or don't like I give away to cousins or friends who are trying to learn how to use basic stuff.

I don't have a huge amount but my boyfriend and family would disagree! :P I wouldn't have near as much as youtubers but I would have a lot more than my friends and other girls I know! its an addiction but there is so many beauty products that I have to try at least once :)

Haha thanks girls! I'm sure most of us on BL have way more makeup than anyone we know. Unless your bestfriend is a MUA. 😜 but there's always going to be someone out there who was way more than you.

I'm with ya Amanda! None of my friends or family are really into makeup, so my collection is definitely bigger than theirs, however it all fits in one drawer so it's probably really small in comparison to a lot of other people's. When I first got into YT I thought those collections were a realistic representation of what a collection should look like, but for an average girl on a student budget who rarely has the time to spend more than 10 minutes on makeup, it's just not practical. I'm on a no-buy and I'm feeling pretty good about it! There is so much influence from bloggers/BL/YouTube on all of the things that you 'absolutely need', but now I get to realize that my world doesn't totally fall apart when I don't get exactly what I want.

I have a pretty huge makeup collection my makeup room tour is an hour long I don't even wear makeup often but I like to collect it I hate when people say stuff like its all going to go to waste its there money and if they want to spend it on collecting who is anyone to judge.

I wouldn't say mine is big, but it is compared to my sisters and many of my friends. I fill up an entire MUA train case as well as too of my bureau! But it's growing, slowly and surely!

If you do mean Tarababyz, I love her and sat through the whole thing. But she showed you every single palette and opened it and everything. I would say that my collection is decently sized. The biggest part of my collection is eye shadow palettes, and I have way more than I should of those. I probably have about 20 palettes.
