Hi I have this body lotion that is at least 2 years old and I don't know if I can still use it or not. When I opened the bottle the lotion looked normal and didn't change. The smell is normal and fresh like how it always was. I tested some on a bit of skin and the texture was normal and there was no allergic reaction. The brand is by Olay and is the Quench Daily Lotion.

Ehhh.
even tho it all smells & looks normal, I would probably still toss it & get a new one.

Patch test it. It's probably okay, look at the list of preservatives- your grandkids should be able to use it safely.😂 Honestly, they want use over cautious so throw it away and buy more! If it smells off, looks off, or feels off, chuck it. But otherwise, it should be fine.😁

Considering you spot tested it & everything appears fine, I'd say go ahead & use it.

I bought an olay gift set after Christmas for 75% off just bc it was super cheap not last year but the year before. The quench lotion Is still in my bathroom closet and never used. I just tested it too and it seems fine too:)

I think it's fine unless it has SPF or something that's really time sensitive in it - otherwise if it's just some basic lotion I wouldn't worry about it.

The only worry would be bacterial contamination, which is more likely if it is in a jar versus a bottle with a pump. It *should* be okay, just don't use it on broken skin or on your face.

Most body lotions still would last long even after the expiration date,I'm still using the ones from four years ago and they're still fine :)
